The facts remain.
You can generate unlimited bitcoin wallets (bank accounts) without ever needing to be connected to the internet. People can send funds to these generated addresses if shared by you while you still don't need to be connected ever - obviously THEY do.

So, my mailbox saves tons of thousands of tons of CO2, because once I've put it there is no need for me to do anything while receiving mail and packages and ransom letters  Grin Seriously, this is just stupid, if you think you're helping bitcoin this way you're actually doing worse, you're just showing you have no clue how things work.

In order for somebody to send you coins, they don't only need their won electricity but nodes and miners need to relay and confirm your transaction, and that takes electricity, the more gear is mining the more secure the network is, and the less they do the weaker it is, there is no escaping from this thing. And good luck with your solar panels, wonder why no large farm is doing the same, there must be a trick somewhere!

Compare this to banks having to maintain your account with them on centralized services. Needing to login, etc.

Ok, let's compare it
Galaxy Digital (which is pro-Bitcoin) estimated the consumption of banks  at 263 TWh
Bitcoin Mining council estimated the bitcoin mining consumption at   247 TWh.

Quite close, isnt it?  Wink

Yes that's great information but the facts still remain. You can't create unlimited bank accounts in the way you can create unlimited bitcoin wallets using almost no power to power that is around you (calculator powered by solar).

This requires basically no power to most people and again tell me about how many accounts you could create on PayPal or any physicals bank systems let me know how many people and power is involved on that one. What about DDoS attacks? The massive people and security drains.

Wait with a click I did that with Bitcoin or any crypto a million times already.

Are you going to challenge these facts and discredit someone making a great arguement for one of the amazing functions of Bitcoin and all of crypto when it comes to generating wallets? I'm doing worse because I inform people constantly of some core security and power saving features built right in?

Plenty of people like to use Coinbase but many more are showing interest in this amazing power saving tech that is built right into the heart of crypto.

"Offline wallets"

You could generate a wallet no one knows who has the key that people donate for many many years and this wallet never had to be connected ever until any funds needed to be sent.

Much like gold this wallet can be "stored" within a flash drive, thumb drive, a secret a piece of paper, etc.

Some are able to remember the two numbers involved completely storing these Bitcoins inside their brain.

Yes that is right you can secure Bitcoins right inside your head completely using some memory tricks.

Or carry it in a real wallet or a safe. Call it digital gold sure -- gold is difficult to spend, takes a bit of time/fees to sell/buy  except security fees are basically nothing when you start to have bigger amounts of crypto.

You can store a million dollars in your brain?

The safe is broken into everything is gone but you keep your value stored deep inside yourself. Hidden away.

Now this doesn't stop Elon Musk from hacking your brain for your Bitcoins with his brain reading tech.

You just need some sunlight but only one time unless you want to generate more crypto wallets.
You also need a device where you can create your keys safely.
And you need a wallet software / key generation software if you are not a coder, so 99,9% of all people will also need a wallet software.
And to write it down (offline) you'll also need a pencil and a paper or a USB stick to store it offline.

To access it again, you'll also need a device where you can access your keys safely and you need a wallet software and ofcourse internet access to send your transaction out.

Of course all this is cheaply available and my device uses less power than a calculator.

QR codes really help.

I won't even get into the massive amounts of power crypto time is saving the world. You are welcome.

Compare this to banks having to maintain your account with them on centralized services. Needing to login, etc.

You can side with the people misleading the masses if you want.

I'm not siding with the banks. But you replaced their misleading with yours. This gets us nowhere.
The "bitcoin uses too much electricity" part is a lie. But in order to get use of bitcoin we do need some electricity, some internet and, truth be said, mining is also necessary.
Generating addresses and waiting for manna fill them from the skies is unrealistic.

The facts remain.

It is one of the massive and endless efficiencies produced by crypto that is too much overlooked and misunderstood by people like you trying to confuse the masses.

Obviously we have a global network of "miners" "computers" allowing proof of transactions to take place.

Soon the network will spread to space past mars and you'll be behind with the deteriorating modern banking system.

The world of quantum will hit hard.

How you've managed to gather all these buzz words and say basically nothing useful and full of mistakes?

* No Electricity -> surprise, the power generated from sun and which you'll use *is* electricity; you do use electric devices.
* No Humans -> and who built those devices? who has created and installed all that software?

Do you realize that your proposed wonderful wallet generator only creates big random numbers? And since it's not connected to internet not humans around nobody will know which numbers were generated and what addresses are related to those?

Do you realize that people need new address(es) with a purpose (to receive funds or as change addresses), not just generated out of the blue for the sake of it?

I already stated it generates its own electricity through solar.

The facts remain, you can generate offline wallets and receive unlimited funds offline. Yes you of course have to connect it to the internet once you want to send the Bitcoins.
