Just recently started having the same problem as OP on one of my rigs.
Claymore freezes at GPU #X: algorithm ASM.

Running a rig with 4 AMD GPUs and 6 Nvidia GPUs.
The separate instances trick works (1 instance for AMD and another for Nvidia) but i would really love to find out if someone has found a way to solve this.
OS is windows 10 using blockchain drivers (aug 23).

hi mate, would you mine sharing your settings with your amd gpu I'm also starting with some rx570 and I really appreciate if you can guide me getting
the maximum hash rate from my rigs, kindly PM me if you have some time and congrats for resolving your issue with some idea coming from co-member
inside here. good luck

With rx570 you could flash your card for best result. Unfortunately I don't have it yet, so i can't guide you about this. Sorry

Campaign Management?"Hhampuz" is the Man
2 instances is works. One for AMD card and other for Nvidia card.

It's a bit none sense to me for separate same task for each type of GPU. Anyway seem like this is the best way that I can do for made it works.

So thanks for idea MinasTirith. <3

Try starting them in separate instances....one for all AMDs, and one for Nvidia.

That should do it  Smiley

Hey nice idea. I will try this.

Thanks for the idea. Smiley

Hello Guys,

I am newbie of mining at first I try to fix this problem via google but no luck. So I ask you guys for idea to solve my problem.

I am mining Ethereum everything works fine when my rig has 8 Nvidia and 3 AMD GPU. Unfortunately when I attached one more AMD card and start Claymore then windows freezes within 10 seconds.

So I try to reduce scope of problem I found that when I start Claymore with 4 AMD GPU plus 1 Nvidia GPU windows will freezes.

Here is what I try and It works fine:

- Test one by one of VGA Card and Riser.
- Test any group of 3 AMD plus 1 Nvidia. (Just like AMD card number 012 + Nvidia card number 1, AMD card number 023 + Nvidia card number 1 .... bla bla bla)

Here is what I try but no luck:

- Reinstall windows, driver and user latest version of Claymore
- Change PSU to dual 1000Watt + 1300Watt

If you guys has  any idea to investigate this problem, I would appreciate it. Smiley

Here is log file before Claymore freezes
