asking such amount here and being a new user, isn't really good for you, you should provide something first, before asking for that amount

Sorry to say but that's gonna be a tough one, you're highly unlikely to reach that amount through donations. You should instead look at doing small jobs in exchange for Bitcoin.
Have a look here: http://www.reddit.com/r/Jobs4Bitcoins/
You can sometimes find work on here as well, see the services section, I recently found a thread (although I cannot remember where on the forum) where some guy was paying pretty decent money (in BTC) for well-written articles on Bitcoin.

Yeah, that fundraising is going to be tough without much of a network.

If you're looking to improve your writing and gain a following you can post some articles on Backed:

https://www.backed.io

There are no guarantees, but if you write something decent you'll likely get some tips.

Steven,

Folks in this thread aren't trying to be mean, but when someone new comes along and starts asking for funding
before they've even really made an attempt to engage with the community (I see you only have 8 posts), it sends
up a red flag and makes people suspicious.

Aside from all of the snark, some good resources have been listed for you. Take advantage of them and best of
luck to you!

Cheers,

Cynthia

Hi, my name is Steven. I am trying my best around the net to seek funding for a book I want to publish. I wanted to start a kickstarter but dont have enough contacts on social media. I live in South America, and have been for almost 10 years, in several countries,  and am hoping to start my dream career in writing and also to finish and publish my book about those who break free to travel, live in a place that makes them happy. What means most in life other than material items and being surrounded and involved with those to share love, helping others and thr happiness that brings you in life. I am trying to raise $7500.00, which will help me with some more research, to finish my writing, some graphic design, time, and also to start self publishing and printing as well as advertising. I am asking for Bitcoin donations to help me realize this, thank you - 1FwsACfRyaH6fQhCz6BcQa7oWwyEEKueCP  - If you have questions you can contact me - [email protected]

Maaan you do not need $7500 to start that book!

I will give you some advice because i am a friendly kind of guy, take you're possible skill and create an ebook and work to whatever monetary goal it is you need!

You will not scam this community with that write up and you will receive 0 BTC

If you can actually write you have a chance with ebook.

Good luck.

There are places to get crowdfunded or get donations for a cause, but not here, in Bitcointalk.

If you want to get crowdfunded in Bitcoin, I'd suggest you look into here:

https://bitsquare.io/crowdfunding/

https://www.vinumeris.com/lighthouse

If you just want to get started and set a goal without need for Bitcoin, there's the traditional sites:

http://www.gofundme.com/

https://www.kickstarter.com/

http://landing.indiegogo.com/

No need to come to Bitcointalk for your crowdfunding needs.

Most people here dont even own 1 BTC and are struggling to pay bills. You should try to release for free some of your stuff to create interest and build an at aleast small following before starting a kickstarter. Thats what gamedevelopers do.

It is tough to get that much amount from this forum. Max to max people get a dollar or two through charity. It is better you work here and earn through signature campaigns rather than depend on donations.

yes very difficult, myself have not necessarily one year can earn $7,000

Good luck getting that funded.  While you wait for your donations to start rolling in, you should check out oDesk.
