i also noticed that ref spams can kill groups but personally i am managing a bitcoin related local group with roughly 10k members and still active and alive after a year and counting. it depends on how the admins manage the group i think

i manage bitcoin faucet group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/btcfaucets/ and can say it's only growing, people like to share reflinks and you can find there always fresh faucets, so i hope this BitcoinCasinos group will get to that level too.
