This post is not about Bitcoin, but privacy, which is something anyone involved in bitcoin should be interested in.
https://startmail.com/ is from same company that offers https://startpage.com which is the search engine I use. Not sure how effective startpage is after learning how prism works, as described by Steve Gibson of Security Now starting about 1 hour in of this video http://twit.tv/show/security-now/408
Unclear how startmail will be different from hushmail and others, but as I'm a fan of startpage think will be worth looking at.
