Unconfirmed parent means that at least one of the parent transaction(s) to the transaction you are sending is currently unconfirmed.

Child parents can NOT be confirmed until the parent is confirmed. It is a warning that your transaction is spending the output from an unconfirmed transaction. Also, your fee is really low (123 sats/byte) compared with current recommended fees of 500+ sats/byte... you're going to be waiting a while for that transaction to confirm

Thank you so much for your quick reply.
I just rebooted my pc for another problem and openend Electrum again.
To my surprise the status in received is now Paid!

However in history I see now the description of Unconfirmed parent..
If I go to detail, I see this

Status: Unconfirmed
Expected confirmation time: unknown (low fee)
Amount received: 10.048 mBTC
Size: 226 bytes
Fee: 0.27798 mBTC (123. sat/byte)

Am I progressing, or more problems underway  Huh
Thanks for your time.

Pending means your transaction isn't yet confirmed by a miner who would apparently have to include your transaction into their block that they mine. This depends on the fee that you had set and on the size of your transaction. Could you provide the fee and the transaction size which is in bytes and maybe we could estimate it based on the current recommended bitcoin fee (https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/). The current recommended fee is about 500 satoshi's / byte but I've seen confirmations happening even for 210-220 satoshi's / byte transactions today.

Hello All,

I installed Electrum and sent some btc to a receiving address.
It keeps displaying the status: "Pending".

When can I expect my btc? Any idea? Thank you.
