RIP Mommy
So you've received that TX, and there's no more rebroadcasting to do, and Electrum should have refreshed & disabled the broadcast button by now, showing it as part of your confirmed balance.

After pressing the broadcast button Electrum says: error: The transaction was rejected by network rules.  (transaction already in block chain)

My WAG is that your Electrum polled the mempool of the Electrum server for the addresses you have, and there is an unconfirmed TX to your address, that you can rebroadcast if you want. Once you get a confirm, there's nowhere to rebroadcast to.

I have received the coins. I did not broadcast, sign or whatever. Status still says "Signed"
The Broadcast button is enabled. I have never used it. What is it for?

I see. All my other transactions show the number of confirmations and the broadcast button is disabled. Hm?

Did you actually "broadcast" the transaction? Or did you just create and then sign it?

If you go to the transaction details, is the "Broadcast" button enabled?

Hi
using Electrum 2.8.2 (Linux).
Can you tell me what does "Status: Signed" in Details mean?
Why Elelectrum do not show the number of confirmations for this transaction?

thanks
