Looking for gigs
My first post after 2 months of inactivity. I've self-quarantined since two weeks ago because of my mom's exposure to our neighbor who is considered as Patient Under Monitoring. I'm just glad that the entire family had no symptoms such fever, frequent cough, body weakness, difficulty of breathing, etc. Currently, this is now my final day of self-quarantine and I have no problem staying home without getting out, thanks to the internet and TikTok.

Before this pandemic happened, I always go out during late afternoon to balance both work and life. With my 2 weeks of self-quarantine, it feels strange of not going out for several days. But I'm fine with that, I always find ways not to be bored and be productive while staying home.

We are also under enhanced community quarantine, in which only those with quarantine pass can go out to buy essential goods, medicines, etc.

However, staying home is not the only way for us to save lives. You need to have a strong immune system to fight off the virus.

How to ensure that you're having a strong immune system?

- Eat healthy foods and drinks
- Regular exercise at home
- Avoid stress
- Take high quality nutritional supplements (with 96.3% body absorption rate, natural ingredients without chemicals, removing free radicals from your healthy cells, prescribed by doctors, etc.). DO NOT IGNORE THIS.

Aside from strengthening your immune system:

- Proper hygiene is a must (experts say hand washing with soap and running water is much more effective than alcohol or sanitizer). Do not touch your face, nose and mouth. Use a tissue instead if you need to wipe something from your face.
- Social distancing (no hugs, kisses or shaking hands for now). Maintain your distance from others.
- No mass gatherings of any kind even if you are just a few.
- Although health experts say that face masks are only needed by the frontliners, it's still essential in case someone accidentally coughs or sneezes.
- Always bring alcohol with a spray function and tissue paper. In case they cough or sneezed in your face close your eyes and sprinkle yourself with alcohol. Wipe your face with a tissue paper and dispose it.
- Stay home. If you think that staying home tells you that you're not doing anything, actually you're doing something . You are doing something to prevent the virus from spreading.

There are still some stubborn people roaming around thinking that the virus is a joke, and defying quarantine, curfew or lockdown.

Look everyone! If we want our lives back to normal, we have to sacrifice just for a little while. United Kingdom government even considered to extend the lockdown to 6 months to prevent the second or consecutive waves of the coronavirus.

I don't mind about the extension of lockdown just in case it worsens like the current situation of the US, Italy, Spain and other countries (Hubei province is slowly returning to normal). It only teaches us all how to be cooperative and unite with the government's efforts to stop this pandemic once and for all. It's just sad that others are having lack of discipline and ignored their government's warnings.

The government has done their part, but have we done our part too?

Sad to say that not all aren't doing their part, because they're still going out like it's normal. Like they cannot live a single day without getting out of their houses and roaming around or partying with friends. We, the community, are the final pieces of the puzzle to eliminate this deadly virus. Please stay home.

God bless everyone! We can survive this!

This thread should is a nice one. People keep forgetting and the good thing is that there are people who aren't forgetting to remind us. People should wash their hands too after going out to buy some necessities. I hope more kinds of threads in the future to remind us.

Nice one because from the title on down it is dominated by dick-eating normies who cannot wait to dive head-long into full medical fascism.  Sorry to piss on your Cheerios.

---

Just to add a little real content, sheltering at home does the exact opposite of 'killing the virus'.  'Killing the virus' happens every time (until now) by a population developing immunity and killing it off.  Normally takes a matter of months for seasonal influenza and coronavirus strains.  By artificially interfering (and destroying the worlds small-business in the process) it probably can be induced to linger on and 'come in waves.'  Looks like that is exactly the idea because it is more and more clear that one of the main goals is global tagging of individuals and forced vaccinations.

If you want to put this coronavirus in the rear view mirror, healthy people should be going to 'covid-19 parties' while the vulnerable are protected and using their good fortune of being healthy for the benefit of 'the collective.'

Secondly, and most importantly, it would be good for independent researchers and people with bravery to really research this SARS-cov-2 in a holistic manner to discover with precision how it came to be.  Failing that it is likely to happen again and again and again.

As what we are facing right now, as virus is still spreading around the world, all of the doctors are doing their best just to give solution to the virus. Doctors and nurses all over the world are joining in a campaign called, "Stay Home: Save Lives" and hope citizens are following their calls for help.

We all want to kill this virus, we are all responsible on doing that, so the best thing that we can do is to stay at home to prevent the risk of spreading the virus. Let us all cooperate, the governments suspended the classes of the students and temporarily stop the work of the employee because we all need to stay at home to avoid the virus.

Here in our town it is not being followed because of lack of government support, workers prefer to go out to work because they lack support coming from the government, that is why the number is growing, one worker even say it is not Covid that will kill them but lack of food, this is what happen if a third world country is hit by this virus.

Vaccinated last year from what?
From anything, except maybe the military versions of vaccines in the US which some say are less harmful, and therefore wouldn't weaken soldiers' protection from other viruses such as coronavirus so much.

About half of Americans get the flu shot every year. That's far from people who get COVID-19 not having any previous vaccines.

I don't know about America, but in other countries those yearly flu shots are only recommended to risk groups such as the elderly or health workers to avoid exposing their patients.

There is mandated vaccination for a group of diseases (pentavalent?) applied mostly to infants. Adults here rarely get any vaccine at all.

Until the mid 70ies people had mandated smallpox vaccine, you can recognize them, by the scar it leaves in the upper arm near the elbow where it was usually applied. By the time i was born, the practice stopped (WHO? declared the virus extinct). Should a "mad scientist" somehow kept a living sample somewhere, it could release it and have a lot of people killed. In theory everyone destroyed living samples and only frozen vaccine remains...

Although it will help drop the cases of infected people with the virus, i still think that it will not be effective in the long term. Cause even a country manage to lower the cases of people as long as other countries has it. It will continue to spread and still the sources of its origin, unfortunately the woman eating a bat was not the origin, that's why i still think a vaccine is urgently need.

The only people who need to stay home are those who were vaccinated in the last year. They're the ones who show no symptoms and spread it to many people for up to 2 weeks.

Regular non vaccinated people can go out and carry on business as usual. To us anti-vaxxers this is no more than a regular head and chest cold that shows symptoms after the normal 3 days from exposure.

Vaccinated last year from what? This virus has no vaccine, everyone getting it had no previous vaccine. People have to isolate BECAUSE there is no vaccine, especially those in the high risk groups like the elderly, the ones that typically also get their yearly flu vaccine.

Of course if you believe in your own words, you will probably head for a Darwin award.

It is a good idea to stay at home but It is impossible to stop this virus without a proper vaccine or medicine. All it takes is one person to reverse everything back to shit.

I hear it is very hard to develop a vaccine against this virus because it is constantly mutating so we must wait for a medicine and it might take months, maybe years and worse... maybe never.

Staying at home doesn't kill the virus, it just means you will be vulnerable when you do go out eventually, or when you have things delivered. Building a healthy immune system to kill the virus in your body is the way to gain permanent protection. It saddens me to see so many people in the supermarkets buying pharma products to destroy their immune systems, and none of them is wearing gloves.

If the entire world magically stayed isolated for two weeks (twice), the virus would die by itself. Unfortunately people keep going out and getting infected and infect others. The quarantine is slowing down this process at best, which may also lengthen the thing as well. But the idea is to help healthcare better cope with the sudden influx of patients. In many countries this has gone out of hand, as they did not isolate themselves seriously. And it happens that those countries have the highest death count, simply because there are not enough places and resources to treat them all and there are too many grave cases at once from uncontrolled spreading.

And, while far fetched, it might even give time for a vaccine/cure.

Regardless of staying at home, there are still people who violates the lockdown guidelines and the results is more people gets affected. Because people complain about boredom and to not be able to handle it much longer. I think this is very hard for, third world country's as they lack discipline. So we might need another solution like the faster development of the vaccine.
Its takes about a year before the vaccine will totally implement and all we should do for now is strong our immune system so that we don't get the virus. Staying at home is a great help not just for the country but for also ourselves. Together we will stop of this spread of this virus. In today's crisis, discipline is very important and every participation of the people will a great help and its one of main reason why some countries like China and South Korea managed to prevent in spreading of the virus.

I agree. Stay at home. I have been thinking about moving out into the wilderness, so that my home can be the whole outdoors. That way I can stay at home and go anywhere I want at the same time.

While yes, staying at home won't KILL THE VIRUS it does help to end the virus from spreading, as there are less people congregating together which means theres less of a chance that people are going to continue to spread the illness. If sick and healthy people all stay home from work, and contact is limited for only essential activities, then there is just going to be less people getting sick. Can't argue on that one.

And if less people get sick, less people that are actually vulnerable to this are going to get sick. Then less people die.

Stay home.

I don't have internet at home so I have to go out to coffee shops and internet cafes in order to share my sagacity with this forum...and to watch a little porn.

Watching porn in a coffee shop must be one of the weirdest thing you can do. The cringe counter is going off the scale.  Roll Eyes

I've been at home for the last 2 weeks, not counting that one time that I went to buy groceries. Everything seems to be fine and I have enough food for another 10 days. I'm also not bored at all. A lot of work in the house and it's spring so I have some gardening to do. I'm watching netflix, drinking beer, watching it all unfold.

Unfortunately all this hard work in the interest of humanity is making me kind of ill.  Dry cough, slight fever, etc, but some of my favorite coffee shops have cushy chairs upon which I can wipe the snot (and jizm) off my hand.

I am glad you are doing reasonably well, given the circumstances. However I have some bad news. You will have to find another time to climb.

Mt. Everest is closed.

It's too bad that people believe all this CV hearsay, rather than getting real proof.

I think hiding from the coronavirus at home is not the best solution, as almost everyone on our planet is likely to get sick with the virus if we don't get vaccinated within two to three months, no matter what kind of protection we use. But we all just have to follow the advice of the government and doctors to give them a little more time to take action to isolate the infected people and to create and test the vaccine.

Staying at home may not be the best solution but it's one way of minimizing the spread of the virus to other people. Some countries who are too late in locking down their borders were suffering this disease now, specially in Europe.

Maybe it take time but i hope they will discover a vaccine for this disease asap.

We need to remember ourselves to stop the virus If we are aware and help others we'll get obviate this virus very quickly you're right that we should always avoid public meetings because there's a high risk of being attacked by viruses. Also we should always be faraway from the entertainment centers so we will easily prevent it.

I agree that staying at home does little good, but probably makes things worse. The medical knows that CV can be controlled and eradicated by copper. But medical people, individually, have had their focus taken off this cure. The medical leaders are making them focus on all kinds of lab stuff, which will eventually make Big Pharma all kinds of money.

Wanna protect yourself from CV? Go to the nutrition store and pick up some copper supplementation. BUT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE BOTTLE, including taking zinc along with it, because too much copper is not good for your health, either.

Copper Destroys Viruses and Bacteria. Why Isn't It Everywhere?

In 1852, physician Victor Burq visited a copper smelter in Paris's 3rd arrondissement, where they used heat and chemicals to extract the reddish-brown metal. It was a dirty and dangerous job. Burq found the facility to be "in poor condition," along with the housing and the hygiene of the smelters. Normally, their mortality rates were "pitiful," he observed.

Yet, the 200 employees who worked there had all been spared from cholera outbreaks that hit the city in 1832, 1849, and 1852. When Burq learned that 400 to 500 copper workers on the same street had also mysteriously dodged cholera, he concluded that something about their professions—and copper—had made them immune to the highly infectious disease. He launched a detailed investigation into other people who worked with copper, in Paris and cities around the world.

In the 1854 to 1855 cholera epidemic, Burq could not find any deaths of jewellers, goldsmiths, or boilermakers—all those who worked with copper. In people in the army, he found that musicians who played brass instruments (brass is partly copper) were also protected.

In the 1865 Paris epidemic, 6,176 people died of cholera, out of a population of 1,677,000 people—that's 3.7 people out of every 1,000. But of the 30,000 who worked in different copper industries, only 45 died—an average of around 0.5 per 1,000.

After visiting 400 different businesses and factories in Paris, all of which used copper, and collecting reports from England, Sweden, and Russia on more than 200,000 people, he concluded to the French Academies of Science and Medicine in 1867 that "copper or its alloys, brass and bronze, applied literally and pregnantly to the skin in the cholera epidemic are effective means of prevention which should not be neglected."

Though this simple action may really help the situation. But there are times that someone needs to go out, buy groceries or medicines. If you are just a regular individual who doesn't have the luxury to buy in bulk, I think that's more than understandable. Very small percentage are in the upper class where they don't have to worry about their grocery stocks or any other things needed. It is not the case that the government will provide your basic necessities at your doorstep when you need them. People should show some human compassion here when it is needed.

Well said mate, that is the only thing we can do to help everyone especially those doctors and even our government to prevent the risk of spreading the virus, staying at home will make us safe. We won't be infected by the virus if we will obey those people, they know the best for us, let us all help everyone, stay at home, do not include yourself as being infected by the virus.
