Do you guys check prices of crypto's daily? I'm finding it so stressful to predict and watch prices shoot up and down.

I have a top menu app bar ticker on my mac. Shows me the price of bitcoin and ether 24/7 (actually, just every time i'm using my laptop).
Its only stressful if you let it get to you. If you have money already in bitcoin be happy and content that it's gone up. If you don't have money invested in yet, don't worry because it's value will still rise beyond $50000. It's not too late to invest today.

Do you guys check prices of crypto's daily? I'm finding it so stressful to predict and watch prices shoot up and down.

Personally I do but that is because I am very active and looking to profit from some of the volatility. If you are just interested in holding then I would try to only look at the price maybe once a week or even less. It will help you to relax and stop you from making mistakes due to your stress or fear.

It will depend on how you do your trade, i personally do check it once in a while.
if you check it daily or to often you will surely be stressed out.  Try to study technical analysis and you will be able to speculate future prices.

Do you guys check prices of crypto's daily? I'm finding it so stressful to predict and watch prices shoot up and down.

Of course not, why would you ever do that? Well if you want to day trade, then you need to be looking at charts all day during your trades, but if you are not doing that, then there is no reason to look at it's price so often. Bitcoin and crypto in general are so volatile, that looking at it's price over and over again, is way to stressful. I do check them with some regularity, to see if we got new all time highs, but I perfectly conformable with it's price drops as well, so I only do it out of curiosity, and it doesn't stress me.

I think it's important to be on the ball in regards to BTC prices. I went away for 2 days and it's nearly at $10k... If you don't follow the dips and peaks it's gonna be pretty hard to invest or pull out

Yes, I agree. I also check the price in order to check whether the price have hit another all time high, but not too often. I usually just check it daily. It's still important to keep up to date on the BTC prices, without having to check on it every now and then otherwise this would stress you out. It is but expected to see some price dips every now and then so one shouldn't fret to see the price go down once you check it. We should keep up with the trend, as this would help us in making decisions to buy or sell.

It depends on how you'll gonna play your cards, in trading there's a lot of things that might happen so you need to be always ready i'm always checking the price of bitcoin daily although i'm a long term investor i just wanna check if it's doing fine but if you're a daily trader then you must always check the price of what coins are you holding i'm not that good yet but i think i'm improving and there's no way to predict anything just trust your decision and see the outcome even it's a loss or gain.

Don’t make the same mistake I’ve done before and I’ve learned the hard way.. It’s better to be out of monitoring prices on daily basis because it can’t be good mentally and emotionally.. Yes it’s stressful and that makes your mood swings much intense.. I’ve lost bitcoin because of selling it in panic as a newbie in that field,, I should have give myself free time than thinking much.. I would have hold it until now if I’m not reacting to the price and earned more..

Do you guys check prices of crypto's daily? I'm finding it so stressful to predict and watch prices shoot up and down.

certain level of stress is a part and parcel of this business here. that is why not everyone goes for becoming a trader. and if you are a day trader then these ups and downs are your bread and butter. you make money from them so there is also excitement and happiness with that stress.
and if you are not a day trader then there is no reason for even concerning yourself with daily fluctuations. just check the price with long intervals like every month if you are a long term holder, or every other day if you still want to catch the bottoms (dips).

At the beginning, you will not understand that stress of checking the price of bitcoin everyday is part and parcel of trading. But as you matured, I'm sure that you will get the idea that you don't need to stress yourself. Although you need to check the prices everyday, you don't need to get emotional and affected by it.

And when you experience the first dip in price of bitcoin but manage to overwhelm it, then I think it will be better as you go along. That's why some quit early because they can't control their emotions so that only thing is to get out of the trading industry. Trading is not for everyone, specially if you are too emotional. Its better for you to just buy and hold long term.

Well no. Same as you,i find it stressful to check the prices every now and then. Especially if i don't have any funds deposited in an exchange and the movements become favorable. So as much as possible i ignore it unless i'm monitoring a certain coin or investment

I check the prices of other altcoins too, not just bitcoin. Because I also look at the prices of the altcoins that I invested on. It has become a habit of mine. Every time I open my computer or my phone, I always check if there are any changes on the prices. Staying updated on these price changes can definitely boost your profits especially when you are day trading. You'll get the right time to sell or to buy most of the time.

No, I don't check it daily but I am using an exchange app where I have enabled a notification trigger feature on so when price crosses the certain level, either upwards or downwards it immediately triggers a notification on my phone so I do check for the news and other information happening in this sphere. When it comes to the investment monitoring, I am using Cryptocompare portfolio option to track profit and losses of my investments.

Yes I see it everyday and currently I'm enjoying it a lot because whatever I can see currently is making me a lot more happy. All the prices are shooting upwards buddy and what could be more enjoyable than this one. Im happy because I had investment into 6-7 different coins and all of them are now boosted to new ATH. Im seeing my profits into my wallets and I'm ready to withdraw them anytime.

This is a sweet fruit of long time waiting and I do it many time. So its better to learn these tricks instead of stressing out your self by just 24 hours up and down. There are lot many more things that are jerking up and down!

Do you guys check prices of crypto's daily? I'm finding it so stressful to predict and watch prices shoot up and down.

Daily? I check crypto prices almost every hour of the day. By doing this, it becomes much easier to predict price rises and falls. Preev is my go-to for keeping me updated on Bitcoin prices as keeping just a tab open will show the price fluctuations while accessing other pages.
You shouldn't be finding it stressful to predict as small fluctuations are very common in the fast moving market. When there is like a FUD wave or some sort of news about a country trying to regulate cryptos, expect prices to fall off by a fair bit so keeping up with the news is also very important while effectively predicting the price.

I check the Bitcoin price once a day, I usually check when I am available in the evening. For this reason, I am not stressed, I am constantly constrained by the fact that I constantly control the price. Because this effort is very stressful.

Woha bro! If you are just stressed out by looking at the pumps and dumps of the prices of bitcoin then you are not made for the trading of the bitcoin. So the first advice for you is to get out of it and try to do something that doesn’t frustate you. I mean that fact, and people with emotional drama can not win the market of bitcoin, and no offence to that really.

I have been into crypto since two years now and I have seen the bitcoin going down 1000 times but also I have seen it coming bak up 1001 times! Yes that how it works and when it works like that then it creates greater opportunities for us and we can just make fortune out of it. I mean look at the brighter of side of this, you can shoot up your investment into bitcoin when the bitcoin is down and then you can shoot up your profits when the bitcoin is all the way high by selling it.

So take a look at the market and study it instead of making the fun for it. Stressing is not an option, rightful investment is the only option!

Do you guys check prices of crypto's daily? I'm finding it so stressful to predict and watch prices shoot up and down.

I really don't like to look at the crypto market daily, it will only lead me to frustration just seeing red arrows or numbers. The moment i feel it, it's like I wanna sell my coins that is why I am not looking at it daily to ease that feeling.

Stressful or not you should've already known this from the start. If you can't keep up with pace why not just quit trading and invest in ICO or rather Bitcoin as it's rising recently. Predicting the price to rise is really hard and almost impossible, but there's some techniques in making a call, like you could join signal groups, there are many out there and for free, be sure to take note about the consequences as it may not always be right and accurate.

When prices go up and down everyday, that's the time for us to make some money. Volatility of crypto is what makes trading more risky but if you timed it precisely, you will earn better profit than trading on regular stocks exchange. Just focus on 3 or 4 pairs per day, you will find it very hard to keep up with the price of every crypto pairs.

Nope because I always set my target price when to sell or to cut loss. I analyze the market once a week but thing strategy is really profitable for me. If you are a day trader then you probably watch and analyze the price movement of every coin for you not to loose big money. Always trade with confident and don't trade with your emotion.

I am sorry if I cannot paste the image here, however, yes you may check the price as often as you can... the secret is (though this is not 100% accurate in crypto) always find where the average_price and the average_volume meets; once they meet upwards you can expect the price to drop anytime soon, but when the two crosses at the bottom then that could be a signal when the price is about to go up. It's not a trick though, those are a few things that one must know when trading stocks. Sometimes it could be applied in crypto but not 100%... those two lines define the what we call "market psychology".

Do you guys check prices of crypto's daily? I'm finding it so stressful to predict and watch prices shoot up and down.
When we are on the green days, it's enjoying and giving me a delight but when the price is going down it is literally stressful. I'm daily checking the price of bitcoin and also the altcoins that I hold. I need to do it since I'm having some stake for day trading and if I'm not going to check it out, I might miss some good opportunity of selling and buying. It's important to check the price but if you are just a long term holder don't do it.

I find it funny, but I check the price like once in two-free days. I don't feel any stress when I see the price is going down. Long term holding is that thing which can bring the most of profit and bitcoin always return and continue it's rise after every dump, so, no worries, just patience  Wink

Do you guys check prices of crypto's daily? I'm finding it so stressful to predict and watch prices shoot up and down.

If you are a day trader, it makes sense to check the price everyday because that is your basis of you making the decision to buy and sell it in a matter of minutes. It might be stressful at the beginning, but day trader is already used to it and this is how they make profit. Get in the market make profit and get out quickly or re-invest it again on other coin.

But if you are just a casual trader and long term bag holder, you don't have to check the price daily. Personally, I just check it when I have the time. I have other things IRL to do besides posting and reading the forum. But I see that most newbies really are somewhat addicted to checking the price, but I don't know if this is a good thing to do at the beginning of your bitcoin journey.

If you are really keeping the track of your investments or if you have some operations or trading orders opened on forex or in another altcoin exchange, then i dont see anything wrong about checking the markets.

Well, it is totally normal, if you have some money invested, would you check the prices or no? this does not even has to be answered because it is obviously that we all are constantly checking the prices in order to see if it X pair/coin is going down or not..

Another stupid question that has been asked in here, what a waste of time.

It would be depends if you are minute trader or hourly trader you should monitor the movement of the price of cryptocurrency..
But if you are long time holder you don't need to be update daily..
And i think there are tools that you can use to inform you about the movement of the price using phone.. this is much advantage..

it's all depend on your strategist,if you're a daily trader of course you need to do that.
because if you do not do that you will lose your investment and you will not get an opportunity to get profit when that time comes.
checking and tracking the price is must if we're a daily trader because with it we can see the movement and market sentiment at the moment.
also we can make a move based on the movement,
something like cutting our losses or cutting the profits that we got from our asset.
for me myself i did it everyday,
but i do not make a daily movement because it's too much stress, just looking at the price daily to check the movement and growth
i stopped doing it because i felt something wrong with my healthy,we need to stay awake for hours and looking at the price in order to keep and get profit.
it would be better for you to stop it and find another solution, like weekly trade or quaterly trade or something like that.
if you can not handle it well, you will lose your investment and at the same time your healthy

Because all crypto value can change at any time.. So we cannot be predict all the time.
For this reason i just check when i want to trade it or exchange to other altcoin..
