Not quite shocked to see if g2a has 1:1 for the rate, yes, it's an international digital game market that's why you get a very very normal price. You should find a local seller which usually gets you below on the normal price, I recommend you to find the popular seller which has so many reviewers.

That could be said about the games as well since they're most of the time not country restricted and yet, come with discounts.

It's weird because I thought that games are cheap there because people who sell them get them from gift cards which their friends/family give them but now, not having cheap GC make no sense.

I've managed to find services to buy using Bitcoin like Bitrefill or G2A but the rates are 1:1. Does anyone have an idea where I could find gift cards at a discount? I don't mind If it's an individual, as long as he has a good reputation.
I'm not interested in buying items, I just want to gift cards to some friends so selling me balance is not really what I'm looking for.

I dont know about large amounts especially but I know of users who want to sell off their steam balance if possible since its not possible to directly extract the value, people resort to various trades.   I used to know someone who raised enough to buy his wife a new washing machine just by trading back and forth, I believe he cashed out via Csgo keys not a gift card but was a while ago.

In this way its not especially uncommon to find people, I know they often do this kind of thing on Reddit for example and have ways of handling it there.  Pretty sure they got a good FAQ to read, let me know if you need any links, info.   I have used reddit myself and done various small trades.   Also small forums I'm a member of have their own trade systems and of course BCT itself, Ive sold steam accounts previously though not often.   I'm surprised its not more of a thing

I will also recommend steamgamesbtc, but i found this site https://egiftcards24.com/steam/?c=eu looks like their rate are 1:1. I don't know if they are legit or not but they have some good review on trustpilot, well some people still get problem while buying giftcards on their site too based on the review.

I bet you could try to trade BTC for a steam gift on Paxful for a decent rate at ~70-75% (seems there are many active trades for steam gifts there at a discount), but selling can be difficult there if you don't have a lot of rep already there, and scams are everywhere on that platform, a big reason why I don't personally use the site much. SteamGamesBTC does sell $50 Steam codes at a discount, but that discount's just $0.50/card. SteamGamesBTC's legit and I've used them as my main source of getting steam GCs in the last year however.

The issue with purchasing Steam gift cards (or any other gift card) at a discount is that the likelihood that it has been obtained illegally is high, so once redeemed there'll be a chance that your friend's account might be banned. The safest option is using BitRefill since they use official providers for their gift cards.

If you do find an individual who wants to sell it at a discount, I highly recommend you to use an Escrow service with a hold period of 1-3 days, CoinMall is a good and safe option for both you as well as the seller.
