So I decided I wanted to decorate my new/first mining rig.  I went with Steampunk theme.

I made the frame of 1" square dowel wood and initially painted it indigo purple/blue.

I decided I'd like something more interesting so I started painting the frame metallic copper.

I also knew I needed some corner braces to make it rock solid.  I found a nice victorian corner brace on thingiverse and am going to print out several.  Thingiverse link:  https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2351435

I also found some corner gear decorations.  I think I might be going with this one:  https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:302506

Printed and painted them and have them propped up on the rig to kind of get a feel for how it is gonna look.  It's going to be really strong that's for sure, with these corner braces.    Here's a photo of my progress so far:
