Rimac is quite an old company (in terms if electric vehicles), can't forget Richard Hammond who wrecked their prototype. I believe that they have immense capabilities, however, they are not in mass production yet, while their prices remain extremely high. I'm hoping that in the future, they enter mass production and become affordable for the public.

Did they say Nevera is going to accept BTC?

As of now, I do not believe such information is available, but I believe that if you are interested, Rimac Automobili (the company behind Nevera) will meet your needs and accept this form of payment.  Grin

By the way, pretty impressive news from a few weeks ago: A decade after starting as a one-man garage, Rimac Automobili has partnered with one of the world's most iconic automobile brands to create a new automotive and technological powerhouse, "Bugatti Rimac".

Quote
Bugatti Rimac represents the company that will develop the future of both Bugatti and Rimac vehicles, by joining resources and expertise in research and development, production, and other areas.

I would not spend €2 million to buy a car like this. The car will cost up to 10% of my daily expenses. I prefer to invest in cryptocurrencies and wait for their appreciation to earn income.

Even the price of used cars today is rising up, you can't expect the new cars to have less price. It's just how things are doing these days but Nevera must be good. I just couldn't expect electric vehicles to be trusted on a long rides, you'd have to stop to charge or you bring your own charger all the time which is also fueled with gas to turn the energy to electricity for your Tesla or Nevera.

At that price it’s obviously no competitor to Tesla. I saw the last Tesla competitor just had it’s CEO arrested for fraud and ended up losing billions in shareholder value. I think competition from Tesla needs to come from the big boys with deep pockets. Tesla is hot at the right time and taking advantage. As you can see from their stock’s extreme P/E ratio, investors are expecting quite the growth explosion.

Tesla never targeted the super car audience, they just want every fellow human's car so these electric cars doesn't make sense as well. And probably not going to be sold in the huge units as well like Tesla is selling.

I get the point of competing with the Tesla Roadster but the price is the major factor in here. just a few google searches, TESLA Roadster is just $200,000 compare to $2.4M car that you introduce. And there is no issue in the quality of the TESLA cars so it is not that of a competition in that point.

If we're looking for something that will compete TESLA motors, it must be at a similar price range and the specs is where it will matter.

Wow 2 million EUR is really expensive. Who has so much money for an electric car? If I had 2 million I would probably not put into a car and rather just go for cryptos. I mean with only 150 units it will be very rare and we likely will never see it on the streets. I bet half of the cars will go to some rich prince in Saudia Arabia or Dubai who will just add it to his car collection and never really drive it. Would be cool if they add this car to the next GTA game, it would be so much faster than any other car.

I have a hard time imagining spending so much money on a vehicle.  I tend to think that people should spend less than 5% of their net worth on their vehicle (closer to 2%).  For me to own something like this, I'd have to be worth in excess of €100 million.  I'm not quite there yet, so I'd have to consider this car a pipe dream.  I couldn't imagine even wanting to own something so expensive.  Why would anyone do that to themselves?  Could you imagine the repair costs?  The disappointment if you scratch it? I think this is a product for billionaires to stick in a showroom.  Not an actual car meant for driving.

A former Formula One driver, Nico Rosberg, is among the first customers of Rimac Nevera.[source]

Rosberg was not only the Formula One World Champion in 2016, but he is also a big fan of electric mobility, having now started his new career as an entrepreneur dedicated to sustainable development. His investments include more than twenty mobility start-ups, as well as the all-electric Formula E championship.
In 2019, he founded the Greentech Festival, a global platform for sustainable innovation and lifestyle.

Here is a funny video of Nico test-driving a C_Two prototype with company owner, Mate Rimac, in the passenger seat:

To have a formula one champion drive you around in a car that you designed and built must be utterly surreal.

Yesterday, June 1, Croatian manufacturer Rimac Automobili introduced a new all-electric hypercar called Nevera. It features performance figures that put it on par with the still-under-development second-generation Tesla Roadster.

Rimac Nevera: Dare to Feel the Next Generation of Performance

The Nevera is the production-ready iteration of the Rimac C_Two concept car, which was revealed at the International Geneva Motor Show in 2018. Since then, Rimac’s engineers have refined their new flagship on every level during an extensive development program, in the pursuit of the ultimate electric hypercar driving experience. With the majority of key components of the Nevera developed in-house at Rimac's HQ in Croatia, all systems have been improved and enhanced since the initial prototypes to deliver on the ambitious performance targets set for at the beginning of the project in 2018.
