I can send couple, I did that already against paypal. It requires trust on both sides. Do not be scared with my short history here, I follow bitcoin for 3 years already.

Use a UK exchange. A quick google pointed me to this:

My advice would be to wait until September.

Localbitcoins is quick and safe to use for UK residents. Not the cheapest but it depends on the market.

Sure I have BTC to sell and I can take £
 I wont charge any fees but then its entirely on trust.   Probably best you ask someone you actually know who mines

okay so i am new and would like to buy btc to get started. i have £500 not sure how to get the best value for money as many of these trading sites have alot of extra charges which i dont want to pay so can anyone do me a good deal? reply on this feed or pm me whatever. need to buy coins before september so anyone who can do me a deal pm me or reply and ill choose whoever has the best deal ... thanks
