It's war mongering, seriously. It's two drunk guys in a bar being obnoxious.

The US is sooo not going to war with Russia. US does not go to war. The US "liberates" smaller regions of their natural liquid resources and signs back door deals with the big 5.

But pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.  Grin

Is there really a connection between stock market and bitcoin? If there is, I'm afraid I don't see it.

Both stock market and bitcoin have different sets of traders and as far as I can tell, they do not overlapped.  Bitcoin traders are more tech savvy, while the stock market traders are usually the more old-school traditional ones who aren't into tech (think of buffett)

when the next major crash comes.. it will yet again highlight the problems with the current financial system.. imagine the attention bitcoin will get if it rises to 3-4k in the midst of a major stock market crash! its hard to tell though because bitcoin hasnt lived through a crash yet so its hard to tell what will happen.. my guess it that it will act like gold.. rising when stocks fall and falling when stocks rise.. but that wont happen until this exponential growth pattern is complete and it levels off... untill then it will follow the current trend regardless of the stock market! thats just my 2 cent...

If Obama goes to war with Russia over the Ukraine issue, then stock market can tank by as much as 80%.

Mind explaining the connection?

I used to invest in gold.

When the market crashes, so does the price of gold. At least in the short term. Over a long period of time they tend to be opposite though.

I would prefer bitcoin as transaction solution, not long term storage value.

why would bitcoin go up if the stock market tanked  Huh
Because people would buy bitcoin as a store of value and because the traditional economies has failed them once again.
