Op if you dont have anything thats mentioned.

Just suck it up and buy a account or re-build the account to back where its at. Theres no options ever since the "reset recovery password secret passphrase" has been removed.

try contacting the previous owner and ask them give you the private key of an old address. or just get him to sign a message for you. they can refuse to do this though.

I think previous owner of if you bought anything with account and the person is trusted and comes out saying you bought X item with a certain address.  But I think chances are slim from reading this.

First I don't suggest others buy accounts, but I realize it is allowed.   But bought or not you should really stake your account in meta.   Staking an address takes a few minutes and may save you one day.

Your first step would be to disclose the account in question, and let the (current) owner defend himself.
If DT members find your arguments to have some merit, they may tag the account with negative trust until this is resolved.
This way, you needn't worry about the account being used to scam.

Screenshots won't do jack. It's if you had a signed message from him with a bitcoin address from the account, or if you are in control of one of the addresses posted by the account and can sign a message. I don't think transaction and "ownership" proof will cut it.

And by the way, get in line; I hear there are a lot of hacked accounts that are still waiting on theymos/BB.

waiting is not a problem.
I hate idea of scamming.... and it's not correct someone with a trick (a stupid trick that I forget to check) could impersonate "a real user".
because who stole an account is not a good boy Wink but even so smart to make also another scam!

Hi
some one stolen an account in my possession.

He create email (fake) associate with google (that was also visible) and then stolen (recover and made a new password)
It's a 2011 account Sad Sad

I have proof of "ownership" because I have buyed and I have all message about tx (with me/owner/escrow).
but stupidly I never post an address.
You can see that he change in the last 7 days login information and there is " a new password" set in the last days.

I have screenshot about tx, old ownership, my ownership, and email fake that it was "public" ...

theymos could help to recover this account?
thank you
