Since you have the Email used to open the account. i think it is very easy to recover your account. why not go for Password Reset using the Email address in your account.
After then, you can add more security in your account like Email notification when you log into your account.

Because he can't.

You can change your email as much as you like here and it doesn't really check for anything (just the current password you have/are using).
You also can't turn on email notifications for when you log in because that's not an option of the forum...

It's not that easy to recover a hacked account. They generally change the email and password, that way the original owner can't do anything but follow the previously mentioned procedure.

This option does not exist, you just have to be careful with the security of your account.

Everything that you need to know can be found in this thread : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/recovering-hacked-accounts-or-accounts-with-lost-passwords-497545

Follow those instructions to a "t" and you will be able to move forward with this unfortunate situation. It would be helpful to include a link to the profile or at least the UID of the profile; much better than the username.

There is a large backlog of accounts that have to be dealt with so you can expect significant delay, unfortunately. These things take time and there is no shortage of lost/stolen accounts.

Follow the instructions on this thread: Recovering hacked accounts or accounts with lost passwords

It's the only way. If you can't sign a message from any address, then your account can't be recovered.

How can I recover a stolen account. I have been off for a bit and didn't notice that my account had been compromised and am way over the 2 week period to lock the account. The account is inspirone1 so if anyone dealing with this guy know he is a fraud. I have access to the original account email so not sure if that will help with my recovery of it.
