This is one mistake too costly. The fact that it cannot be blocked is an added pain. Carefulness seem to be the only way out of this problem. I feel your pain dear. The Dev. team at MyEtherWallet should review their program to block an account that has a complain of loss of key.

I mistakenly misunderstood my secret key during an airdrop and are stole all the tokens that arrive ... is there no way to secure the account now?
you have to be careful to keep your private key secure, make it separate between ETH address and Private Key, if anyone knows about your private key, so all your funds will be ended in stolen.

You should always check if the key you give is public or private key. Once your coins are stolen, there is no way to recover them. Many newbies make this mistake because of being in a hurry if the airdrop has limited participants so instead of having more coins, he would end up losing all the coins he have because of that one mistake. If you wanted to join airdrops then make a wallet specifically for airdrops and then separate your wallet in which a bigger chunk of your account is being kept so that even if you mistakenly input your private key instead of public key, you still have another account and if your coins are not yet stolen then you should act fast in transferring it to another wallet. If you are lucky then you can still save your coins.

that's where you are. You also have an account transfer as long as you do not have coins for yourself
You can do that because you've got the right thing to do with that just keep it relax and just do not give it just like that.

I hope that you have not lost a lot. It had happened earlier to much more experienced users.
Unfortunately, that address is no longer safe. If something else left on that the account, move it to a new one.

I think there's no way, you can make a mistake. Many participate in an airdrop instead of address their private key given. I can advise you the next time you join an airdrop is to make sure you can not give your private key. Be careful not to lose your coins

If your private key has already been exposed to public then all people who see it can now access your wallet aanytime so best to do is just disposed that wallet and create a new one. be careful next time. Write your eth wallet on  notepad or anywhere you can access, copy paste it when you so you wont commit same mistake again.

Wow and why did you did it? I mean, there is a huge letter that says "dont tell it to anyone" when you click on your private key on myetherewallet.. It was your fault, the hacker sent those cryptos to another wallet and there is no way to recover them, this is why altcoins are so special.

Did you have ethereum in there? or just airdrop coins? i am so sorry for your loss, but it was your fault and you should know that there is nothing that you can do about it, because they are from another guy right now.

Try to invest some money and buy a Trezor or a Nano Ledger, they are much more safer than myetherwallet.

I clicked the wrong mouse, I noticed it immediately, but I had already sent the form ... and could not edit it. I was signed up to several airdrops and stole all the tokens before I could move the token to another address ... fortunately I had only ethereum free coins

Hi. If you lost your private key, there's nothing you can do with such a situation. These are features of asymmetric encryption (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public-key_cryptography). The best solution in your case is to generate new wallet.

right never give your key away or post it anywhere!

If you are filling out these google forms for airdrops - always double check the fields before submitting.

I feel bad for you mate because this is something that is easily done in this game.

Next time when joining  in an airdrop always check what you are inserting instead of ethreum address you accidentally input your private key. A lot of members here already do that, all thier coins where gone.

Nothing you can do about that. You made a mistake yourself but not that myetherwallet is one of the most secure Ethereum wallets. I would recommend you start using Exodus wallet which is a multi currency wallet and it is well known for its better security compared to other Ethereum wallets.

If you give away your key you need to create a new one and take your tokens away to the new one

there is no way to secure that account, create a new account and don't share your private keys.
