I agree that pre annoucing shouldn't be used.
It should be all about luck and maybe chance for small miners also.

I like the Pre-ANN, it gives me a chance to get my shit together for launches. I think they are essential to launching new coins fairly. People like me who work full time and have families can't sit on these forums pressing F5 all day. Nor would I want to.
I think what you are pissed off with the recent MAX launch, same here. Those developers are just dumb. They tried to launch a coin before they had anything ready. They set a launch date before they had anything ready. I don't believe they even tested the coin properly. How dumb is that? In the real world you would loose your job over a fuck up like that.

I both agree and disagree. PRE-ANN'd coins fail just as often as ones that are not pre-announced, but I think the PRE-ANN's actually make the launches a little more fair. Too many people are haunting these forums 24/7 to instamine brand new coins as soon as they come out; the pre-announcements at least give everyone a little more lead time to get ready.
if you to release a coin then just post it without a freaking pre ann thread . then it would be a FAIR launch ... not like all the other shitcoins who build up hype for weeks and then dont even release a working windows wallet
