which Blockchain does is provide a unique code for each information. If someone changes that information, the unique code will no longer work, and you will start to smell something suspicious. In the case of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies

I think this is a big project we should all be looking into. Data = oil and it will only grow more valuable as time goes on. I'm glad that I got to check out algebraix because I really believe in this project.

Thanks for the info. I think it's time to end data exploitation and I think Algebraix is the one to do it

Indeed, there are now many reputable companies that use Blockchain technology and there are already 5 Blockchain marks that have been received in the world, already in the lyrics by most people, a very good advantage in a very slick security system.
Of course it should not be misusing someone's personal data that is very contrary to law in every country as well, which sometimes endangers important data as well as his life, maybe they really do not care about it, how cute.

Well, the article didn't really say too much about blockchain tech as a signficiant talking point, but...

I do believe that when it comes to private data that you willingly submit to companies -- it's always got the risk of leakage. Nothing is 100% leak proof.

But I think a great step in the right direction is decentralized social media. That way centralized social media companies can't sell your info out. Decentralized social media has no incentive to sell data unless it's unamiously decided upon.
Well if it's publicly publish on centralize social media it may harm us in the future, it may harm our data including your privacy info. Tho we need a decentralize social media platform so we could post our self or use to advetise some ICO with hackproof data.

Data is the new oil.  Facebook, Google, Twitter and Amazon all provide a service.  They are introducing more services that they hope people will use in order to collect more data so they can sell.  Facebook gives you a platform to post your thoughts, connect with friends and family, share your pictures and play games.  Their service costs you nothing.  They then sell that data to governments and corporations.

SURPRISE!  You are not Facebook's customer, the entities that buy YOUR DATA are Facebook's customers.  You are just contributing the the oilfield.

In other words, we are cattle, Facebook is the farmer, Corporations are the end-user and customer.

THIS exactly. Even more of a reason to invest into projects like Algebraix. My thing is that I watch ads all day I might as well get paid for it lol. That way I can get ads that I actually want instead of random companies targeting me. It's a win-win in my eyes.

This is a good one i guess, as far as i observe more and more ICO's are coming up with products which offers data security such as secured cloud and etc. Because i guess the blockchain itself is prone to this one because of it's mechanics. Well as you can see one of the pioneers of security which john mcaffee are now here in this industry making noises right? So i guess this will be a trend for cryptos. For now what i am encoutering is Boosteriod and GPCC i guess those two are focus on data security and cloud storage maybe you can check it your own.

This is a good step if you are doing something like this to protect user data. After the facebook data sharing scandal, many users lost their confidence and then their stocks experienced a serious decline.

If people don't want their facebook or any private account to be check or contain scan from any ICO then don't use it to join bounty.
Create a smurf account wherein you will use it for businesses purposes like online selling and you can use it to connect your games and lastly the bounty, as long as you keep in mind that this smurf account of you is for good purposes only.

Wasn't a whole lot pertaining to the blockchain in the article. However, I do think that these companies shouldn't be so careless with our data. Either way it goes, there will still be users who will willingly give up all of their data to use certain pieces of software and not care. I.e. Facebook.

Saw this good read about stopping data exploitation: https://medium.com/algebraix-data/you-can-stop-them-exploiting-your-data-e2a7b8eb03d4

What do you guys think? I think it's time for blockchain to step in and protect our personal data and provide micro rewards for those that disclose certain info relevant to advertisers.
