Topic: Story illustrating deflationary model (Read 690 times)
I was thinking as I read the story that the visitors to their village must have had some form or coin themselves. Especially if they were traveling. Wondering how that might have effected things. I liked the story. Very original names for the kids btw.

You made me remember at the end of it how people were different not too long ago, especially those who lived in rural areas. They used to let you in their home and treat you like another member of their family giving you food, shelter or whatever was needed for almost nothing.
I was to young to remember all the details but i think they lived better than us today, their money worthed something, like my grandfather used to say.

Change their names from walter frank and pete to their proffessions (fisherman water-man, farmer) it's hard to remember who's whom

I wrote a fairy tale illustrating a business model based on deflationary model. In my tale there is 1 gold coin, and it eventually gets split into smaller pieces to satisfy market demand.
