No I directly downloaded from bitmain.

So everyone is saying the latest firmware removes the Enhanced low power option intentionally?

It seems that you don't understand the post above or you are not reading?

Again there are two august firmware you need to try the other latest firmware with multi-option feature.

What you need to do is download this firmware "Antminer-S9i-xilinx-201907302056-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF-sig.tar.gz"
after that flash or update the miner with this firmware through WebGUI.
Then check the miners configuration again. Now you should see the multi-option under miners configuration.

If you can't find this maybe you downloaded the firmware from another source not directly from Bitmain?

be constructive or S.T.F.U
Most likely people started burning there S9 so bitmain decided to remove these options

Most of those S9s are not under warranty anymore, in fact it's in Bitmain's best interest that these gears burn.

In the newer versions such as the S9k and S9E , they do not have any power options visible, I haven't had the time to check if they are hidden somewhere like the fan control setting, but it seems like they don't want these setting available for new gears that they are responsible for, as for any other gear , why would they bother if you burn the hell out of your miners? that only means you are very likely going to feed bitmain more money after burning your old S9 ! sounds like a good business plan which I have no double that bitmain would do such a thing ,  I can't confirm it, but they lack ethics enough to do such a thing.

CLEAN non GPL infringing code made in Rust lang
It looks like you flash the miner with another version which is no multi option like the above said.

And according to the image, your miners correct model is antminer s9i with "i" not just s9.

There are two august firmware the none and have multi option firmware for this model.

I don't know if you can still flash it with signed firmware because according to firmware desc: "6.You can't upgrade previous secure firmware after using this version"
but you have to try to get the multi-option feature.

The S9i can still be unlocked using the sd card method, and liberated permanently by switching to Braiins OS (or any of the older firmwares, ie. Dec 2018). In my experience a properly downclocked S9 using bOS can do better (efficiency AND low power use) than the single "magic" LPM ELPM button that tends to break some pools...

Antminer-S9-xilinx-201907302037-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF-sig.tar.gz   42.18MB     The multi-option .
Antminer-S9-xilinx-201907311618-autofreq-user-Update2UBI-NF-sig.tar.gz   41.47MB     no  multi-option  .

for me Antminer-S9-xilinx-201907302037 is good with + 0.5th (S9 13.5th = 14.2th )

Yes I am under the MINER CONFIGURATION tab.
Please screenshots below.

The first screenshot shows the latest firmware. It was successful and the s9 hashes correctly. Was the Enahnced low power mode removed from the latest firmware? I even tried reflashing the firmware.

This next screenshot shows the miner configuration tab. As you can see, the dropdown menu in your screenshot is not in my configuration tab.
Under MINER CONFIGURATION tab, there is ONLY general settings. There is no sub-tab.

All I see is low power mode and a checkbox. There is no dropdown and no enhanced low power mode:

Thanks for your help.

Are you sure that you upgrade the miner to the latest firmware?
Make sure that you successfully flash the miner with the latest firmware.

Don't stay in "general settings" under "Miner configuration" check the other tab under this.

You should find this image below:

No they just move this on “Miner Configuration” for august firmware
You can read this updated article from Bitmain from here Instructions of new multi-option firmware...

No. It is nowhere in "Miner Configuration". All I see is a checkbox for Low Power Mode. There is nothing that mentions Enhanced low power mode, or changing frequencies in "Miner Configuration"

Please see my previous screenshot.

Thanks for your help.

It is august firmware

Did they remove the Enhanced Low Power Mode in the august latest version? Why?
No they just move this on “Miner Configuration” for august firmware

And why is the frequency for each board showing 1824? but the total is showing correct at 633? Is the controller going bad?
It might be a bug why not try to report it to the Bitmain support about this so that they can make a patch for this new firmware.

There is no way to go back to older firmware?
I think you can downgrade it through SD card flashing but I think you don't need to worry about the "low power mode" because they added it on the drop-down menu in multi-option(Miner configuration).

Should I try a custom firmware like Braiins?
No need, everything you need is already in august firmware except for SSH.

I have another S9 with the new august firmware that also does not have Enhanced Low Power mode, but the frequencies are showing correctly.

Both are hashing fine and have 0 rejected shares and accepted shares and correctly hashing the proper profitability for each machine.

They work fine, but it is worrisome. There is no way to go back to older firmware? Should I try a custom firmware like Braiins?

look for the screen that shows the working firmware. Make a screenshot and show it. I think you may want to use may firmware and not august.  I am not sure you will be able to go back to may 2019 firmware.  Good luck.

I have 2 issues with an S9 I bought from Ebay.

It seems to be working fine and I updated to latest firmware specifically to utilize the Enhanced Low Power Mode.
However, please see screenshot, latest firmware from Bitmain was installed, published date 2019-08-08, but I don't see Enhanced Low Power Mode, only Low Power mode.

Also what is strange is that in Miner status, Frequency (avg) for each hash board is showing 1824.96! So all 3 say 1824.96 but the total is correct and displaying 633.66. GH/S (ideal) is showing 13,107.00 for EACH hashboard, but the total is correct and showing 13,500 (13.5 T/hs)
GH/ (Realtime) is all correct.

Please see screenshots.
The S9 summary is correct and shows 13.6 Th/s and is giving accepted shares and seems to be working fine otherwise.
It is plugged into a 220-240V outlet.
