Guys, sorry, but I have sold them cheap.

But to answer some questions,

since i didn't see it and nobody asked. what brand HUBs are you using? how much power does the HUB power supply support? How many ports per HUB and how many of those are you trying to use?

The hubs are orico, Same spec as anker, but a EU version. 10 port usb3 4amp, In the picture you can se I am running 10 in one fine, No reason why 7 would not work due to hub, Its the same seven sticks even when plugged into the computer DIRECTLY.

i had this limit with usb 3. use usb 2

this confused me a little, This suggests that I have a 23 stick limit, when I have had 56 running on the same equipment.
This also suggests that if I am limiting out, The non working ones would be random?

Thanks for helping though, It just got me stumped.

Use bfgminer instead I could never make cg work with usbs and I didnt have time to keep trying

Afraid bfgminer does not work, It detects them, and miners just "reset" when I try and start them.

*reset - The blue light comes on ( about to mine) then goes off and back to the smaller green light.

On a plus side, they work through bitminter client

i have had some issues with my computer not recognizing devices if my host hub is not connected to what would be called your USB control port, it has problems recognising multiple devices about 5 ports(links) away. once i figured out which usb port was the control then i had no issues, but i still run a worker for each hub! lets yous ee how each performs

I will give that a try, But surly if it was a control issue, It would be a random number of sticks and/or configuration.

I will also look on my system to see how my system has set up it's USB ports, Might help.

Right I have had a little play, I cant tell what my control port is on the PC, It looks like all are equal, As regards the different worker (cgminer) for each hub, It sort of works, I have to get the 23 mining BEFORE I turn on the seven, then they might mine or they might show orange light, I have to keep turning them of/on to get green (little) light.

I will still keep playing, I need to nail what the problem actually is, It's strange how you have had sticks like this but no one else knows anything about this?

I dont think I have the level of computer knowledge to do much more, Up for sale

is each hub connected to the computer? or are they connected via a host hub which is connected to the computer?

how many USB ports does hte computer have?

edit: create a worker for each hub and create a .bat file for each worker and run an instance of cg or bfg for each hub, this is how i do it, just turn them on on at a time.

The system has 6 ports, 4 rear, 2 on front via internal mobo connection. I have moved everything around and even tried a few in DIRECTLY to my system, Same thing.

You have a workaround, Does this mean this behavior is normal with these AM sticks?

Allright guys, Hope you can help me.

My problem is thus, I have had some sticks arrive, (30) They all mine, But not at the same time.

Seven of them will only mine within that group of seven on that machine, If I add ANY from the remaining 23 they wont mine atall.  Huh

First some diagnostics,
The seven will never show the big green "ready" light.
The seven HAVE BEEN mixed around on different hubs and configurations to eliminate randomness, Including one of the seven with the other 23, Same story, The whole lot will not mine.
The seven, When powered alone will show a smaller green light (there are 2 on Rev.3) As soon as others are powered on, (not mining just powered on) the seven will show the orange light. (I have tried different variations of this aswell, As in one of them, right up to seven and different ports.

This will get confusing so maybe some pics might help.

Just to show what I mean by " a little green light" All units are unplugged from USB connection

the seven connected and mining

A random error I get when I try all connected ( I get different usb01 numbers relevant to the port one of the seven are at)

My system, I am running PClinuxOS with cgminer 3.1.1, This system only has the USB hubs on, It is NOT gpu mining or doing anything else, It's just a skt775 p4 2.8, 1GBddr2, 32GB ssd Hdd using onboard graphics.

A further note, I have used the seven on a windows system mining Via the bitminter client, All goes well, I added a stick from the other 23 and it did not detect any of them?

Any ideas or further things to try?
