Hoping the BitcoinTalk faithful enjoy:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBgKUxzHXSU
Thanks , i will watch it laters when i have more time.
And i will for sure let you know how it was and is.
Would be nice to see more things that have to do with Bitcointalk and around the Forum.
Maybe its possible at some stage to work together with Cyrus and the Bitcointalk Youtube Channel , would be awesome.

I would love to work with Cyrus and get this on the BitcoinTalk Youtube channel given its dedicated entirely to them and its independently made.

Thanks for your support as well. What do you think the best way to get in touch with him is for such an opportunity?

Some of the OG's will remember ASIC Miner, one of the first companies in the world that made the ASIC popular and they got their start right here on the Bitcointalk forum, what a story:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smmphyFWkwQ&list=PLgyXCPiFWW1li2e4V460SZNzZo4EnzpZx&index=1

Freaking ASICMiner… I still own a bunch of shares of that (supposedly) and am owed a lot of BTC. A shame that guy disappeared and screwed everyone. I think it was friedcat right? Would be great if any of the old asset issuers from GLBSE came back to give back ANY of what they stole from their victims.

I think I remember you from the old days!!!

Yep your memory is correct, Friedcat. Take a watch of the episode if you haven't yet, maybe it will help the sting of the entire situaiton.

We lived through some insane shit Brother.

Wow, what a nice documentary, the superb quality! I watched the first video that you shared where bitcointalk was mentioned and to be honest, I liked it very much, I was planning to watch movie tonight but I'll definitely watch this documentary because the quality of the video is high and its very pleasant to look. I very much liked that they showed bitcointalk, this is one of the most important forum in crypto and financial world!

I think it's a good idea to promote this documentary. I created a short URL and I decided to include it in my personal text for further promotion.

Hey man, thank you.

You are such a powerful storyteller. The editing is excellent as well.

I am definitely going to share this with my friends.  I have saved the whole episodes and I am going to take my time to watch them one after the other. You put in a lot of effort into this project and it is very visible.

Finally something to watch while I enjoy the bull ride.

Damn,  i'm sick as a dog right now so this is uplifting to hear Brother.

Thank you for giving some of your valuable time to our creation.

Very kind works, appreciate you taking the time to watch the episodes. I hope to produce more (a new one each week for several years) so that our industry of cryptocurrency has high quality content to entertain us but also educate newcomers to the space.
Great to hear that, it is a pleasure to watch all those episodes. yeah, each week a new episode would be a really good thing I think, I will try to watch those episodes. I think you're right, crypto community needs such content and I'm very happy to see that you are devoting your time to create such content for the crypto community. Thank you for devoting your time for creating such amazing content for the community, I really appreciate that!

I have watched that documentary which you have created for Bitcointalk. It was a really great documentary, and I would say thank you for devoting your time to create a documentary like that. The members of Bitcointalk really appreciate your efforts, and we hope that you will continue to be part of this community.

I have also watched a few more documentaries on your channel, and I must say that you have created very good documentaries. of course, the best one is the Bitcointalk one, however other documentaries are also equally good. I believe that I'm going to be watching most of your documentaries from now on. Thank you once again for creating the documentary about Bitcoin talk.

You made good decision to create not too long videos. 10 minutes to 12 minutes are enough for watching a video as if it is longer, it will be harder for us to focus on the video.
Yeah, I think that 10-15 minutes is optimal length for such kind of videos. I doubt that you would find many people who would watch 1 hour documentary about online forum. With our fast rhytm of life not everyone has time for long videos, also, younger generation often struggle to keep attention for longer time. Some long documentary still have popularity, but it need to have lot of visual content, like documentary about history or nature.

You can read this BOOK: 'The Bitcoin History Book 2008-2024'.

It can help you to have more information for your documentary videos.

Going to take a look at this book this weekend.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and share your feedback. I have tried to make the average episode no longer than 15-20 mins and most are closer to 12-15 mins due to the way people consume content these days so I totally agree with you on this.

Have a great day!

Not bad short video segment about bitcointalk forum, but they added conspiracy theory that Satoshi never actually wrote on forum, and that his posts got imported from his sourceforge account.
...

For historical accuracy we felt it was worth putting in both views on the Satoshi piece since its still unsettled (literally being discussed in part due to the on-going COPA trail in the UK).

The posts weren't actually imported from sourceforge (which is referred to as the "old forum" in satoshi's welcome post) but from bitcoin.org/smf.

There are ways of verifying that satoshi's posts were the same on bitcoin.org as they are now on bitcointalk.org by comparing post counts, timestamps, and archived versions of the posts.

Other than that, this is a great mini-documentary. Thanks for helping to bring some attention to the true importance of this forum from a historical perspective. Kudos & cheers.

For those that are interested, here is another episode of Once Upon A Coin that just dropped and has a special link to the BitcoinTalk forum.
You should edit this to the OP and also do that with all subsequent links that reference the forum. Would be much easier to find there than within the clutter of replies.

Really amazing work. The tone throughout the conversation (I'll call it that, cause it felt like it) was spot on. You have information from a primary perspective so they were all accurate and focused on the major points in history. It's normally very easy to get lost in all the noise and focus on the irrelevancies, but that was not the case here. Worth the entire 12 minutes.

Looking forward to the next episode.

Many thanks my friend - I've never done content creation before so this is my first time attempting to produce something that hopefully serves as a way to give back to an industry that gave me everything over the last 11 years.

The untold story of ASIC MINER episode just dropped and the forum is heavily featured in that one too.

I was expecting 1-2 hours video since you use term documentary, but it's only about 10 minutes so i decide to watch it. While i'm already aware most of shared information, the content is dense enough considering video's duration.

Not bad short video segment about bitcointalk forum, but they added conspiracy theory that Satoshi never actually wrote on forum, and that his posts got imported from his sourceforge account.
They are also claiming that Bitcointalk forum is the biggest reason for creation of altcoin movement, because every coin after bitcoin got started in bitcointalk forum  Tongue
It would be cool to see aantonop aka Andreas Antonopoulos and few other OG's being active here again.
For historical accuracy we felt it was worth putting in both views on the Satoshi piece since its still unsettled (literally being discussed in part due to the on-going COPA trail in the UK).

Outside from COPA vs CSW trial, i expect only minority believe Satoshi never post on this forum. So IMO it's not really worth to mention on short documentary.

Thanks for taking a look - the docu-series will have over 200 episodes eventually before the show runs it course so some will be longer and some shorter.

Every Thursday at 8pm EST a new episode drops and i'm excited that our industry finally has someone documenting all of the crazy and awesome stuff thats happened. Too often the reporting that news sites and YouTubers conduct is poor quality or just downright inaccurate.

When I saw title of topic I was a bit sceptical and didn't expected that video will be as good as described. But actually it was very well made. Keep up with it!
BTW, took a look on your Youtube channel, I see that you have plenty of good looking videos, over 140k subscribers, but there is so few views. I'm wondering why? Maybe you bought subscribers. Sorry for this question, just a bit curious.

It's good to be skeptical, the internet is a minefield these days.

Our show 'Once Upon A Coin' just got picked up on Web3TV a month ago so it may take some time to get the views up. More social media work can be done to hep get the word out as well given how high quality the show is plus the fact that it's the first historical show in crypto history to document the incredible journey Bitcoin and the blockchain industry have been on since late 2008 when Satoshi released the Bitcoin whitepaper.

And I agree, I wish this place had a revival of sorts since back in the day it was a lot of good times and people all working together on a common goal (mainstream adoption along with some respect from the masses).

I've been part of the forum since early 2013 and have done many things in the crypto industry since then on a professional basis. I wanted to pay tribute to the Forum and all its done for blockchain by featuring it in an episode of my studio (Private Key Productions) flagship docu-series 'Once Upon A Coin ' which is something like VH1 Behind the Music but focused purely on cryptocurrency.

Very nice and good Video you have done there , would be for sure nice to see more something like that , that has to do with the Forum.
So hopefully there are already maybe some ideas for a few more Videos like that one.
Remembers me back in the days where i just readed and hasnt registered at this time.

Agreed, i'm hoping this documentary will spur more people to create content and give this forum the credit and place in history it deserves.

Thanks for taking the time to watch and if you think it's of value, feel free to share with others.

I have just seen it and I found it interesting and well structured. It's about the forum that I didn't know about, years before I registered, and although I had some idea from things I've read here, it's a good and entertaining way to figure out the origins of the forum. I had no idea that the first altcoins were born here (I knew about Ethereum and some others) and how important the forum was for the development of the altcoins. When I registered I soon read the word "shicoins" but that was when the shift to social media had already happened.

Thank you for the feedback my friend, this forum is one of the most historically relevant places in existence when it comes to cryptocurrency.

Spread the word about the show if you like it and hopefully Theymos sees this because he is a big reason why this documentary was created, my career wouldn't be the same without this wonderful place.
