It is a good sign. There are several issues on which Russia and the United States can find common ground. The animosity prevailing between the two sides is a creation of a bunch of corrupt and crooked politicians (John McCain, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden.etc), who profit out of warmongering.

US President-elect Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin have held their first telephone call, in which the two leaders discussed Syria and agreed to improve and develop bilateral ties, the Kremlin said in a statement.
