I tested it recently, and it appears you can only pay it using alipay at present. I'm almost sure I read it was possible to pay with credit or debit cards when the service first started. It used to accept stripe, but says that method of payment is down for maintenance.

Heh, I didn't expect SUCH a reaction

ViaBTC didn't find anything in the last 1h30m. They seem to expect to find blocks every 2h45m, but that's an average, not a rule (they had even 5h+ times)
It's hard to say, but I'll risk a 1-8h range. You need some luck though.

Most of the recommendation about stuck transaction is www.viabtc.com Hope OP utilized this services, bt again it you have to be patience in submitting you requests, becasue tehre many people using this services also.

It was made on the 9th

It was probably "rebroadcast" 2 days ago... the blockexplorers show the most recent time the transaction was received... so it probably started to get dropped from the mempool and then rebroadcast and so the new date is now showing...

OP better start setting alarms to go off 5 minutes before every hour and getting set up on the ViaBTC accelerator page waiting for the hour to tick over so he can try and sneak into the first 100 txes for the hour... (Have we had it confirmed that it is 100 txes per hour? or per block?). With the mempool count over 100,000 unconfirmed... and a metric shitton of unconfirmed transactions with low fees... the accelerator is getting hammered! Undecided

I read their full "about"-section a while ago, and it stated it was 100/hour, not 100/block

That being said, op, have you followed the link i first posted? Everything that has been said in this thead could have been found by following that link...

The quote from iluvbitcoin is incorrect. The transaction was sent last Friday at least 5 days ago and rebroadcast on the ninth. This is misleading and makes me look a little impatient which is unfair.

ViaBTC accelerator is for free, but it's very crowded right now.
I think that it's your only chance to do this for free, so go there often enough until you don't get the "Submissions are beyond limit. Please try later." message.

FYI; viabtc is still working, it's only limited to 100 transactions/hour, so if it looks like it's not working, wait untill the beginning of the next hour and try again...
