You can post your TXID here by right clicking the unconfirmed transaction from your history tab then paste it here so that we can accelerate your transaction whenever your transaction is stuck.

Anyway, you can also use this transaction accelerate from viabtc here https://pool.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/
You can choose free or paid then choose free but it takes hours or more in the queue before you transaction can be accelerate, I don't think if paid service is working or not.

Whatever I do, I can't change the fee. It has been stuck for 24 hours now, way too far from the top and will probably stay like that until I figure something out.
If the OP is a bit clearer, we can be more accurate on resolving your issue, but:
Could be an "unbroadcasted"  transaction that you've saved instead of broadcast (if the "logo" isn't a green check, it's only a locally saved tx).
If this is the case, just delete that history and your bitcoins will return as balance since the transaction didn't went through at all.

two things about your question does not make any sense.
first of all it doesn't matter how much fee you paid, the minimum allowed fee by Electrum is 1 satoshi/byte and that has been enough in the past couple of months (not just last 24 hours) to get your transaction confirmed fast enough. in  the past 24 hours 1 satoshi/byte would have taken a couple of hours not 24.
secondly what is up with trying to "save" the transaction? you go to your history tab and simply right click the transaction, increase the fee and send it again. are you by any chance trying to create a new transaction instead of taking these steps?

I didn't experience this problem so the only thing i can do is read some info about this. I don't know which solutions you already tried so excuse me if you have no use for this information i found.

Sent a stuck transaction:

If you enabled "Replaceable" when sending the transaction, find the stuck transaction in the History list, right click it, and choose "Increase fee". Electrum will guide you through it.

If you did not enable "Replaceable" when sending the transaction:

1. Redo "choosing an appropriate new fee" above using a NEWTX_SIZE of 500.
2. Create a new address in the same wallet (or a different one, if you want); call this NEW_ADDR.
3. In your transaction history, right click the stuck transaction and select details.
4. Under "Outputs", one of the addresses will usually be highlighted. Copy this address and call it CHANGE_ADDR. If none of the addresses are highlighted, then stop
here: you can't use this method.
5. Exit the details dialog and go to the "Coins" tab. Find the coin matching the address found above. Right click it and choose "Spend". If this coin has very low value,
less than what you need to pay in the new fee, then ctrl-click other coins before clicking "spend" in order to add more value.
6. Send a transaction to NEW_ADDR (ie. a transaction to yourself) with the new, higher fee. The amount of the transaction doesn't actually matter, but for fee
efficiency, it's best to spend all of the BTC associated with CHANGE_ADDR minus the fee.

Hope it helps you. Good luck!

Never experienced this, but it would be quite helpful to get more details about your transaction and the error.
  • Could you provide at least the transaction id?
  • How much did you set as fee?

One idea would be to import the address into another wallet and test it from there again.

I've followed multiple tutorials on increasing the fee in electrum. The message I get every time I try to save it is:

Transaction could not be saved.
It conflicts with current history.

Whatever I do, I can't change the fee. It has been stuck for 24 hours now, way too far from the top and will probably stay like that until I figure something out. Has anyone experienced this with electrum? I have no idea what to do. I've read the thread on stuck transactions, did what it said and again, same error.
