Okay. I managed to abandon transaction now, with deleted mempool and no broadcast of wallet.

Can i now just try to send it again? What happened to the one that i allready sent out? Weird. Sorry for being thick. Ill try to send it and see. Gotta calcualte fee first.

Now start Bitcoin Core normally without the -walletbroadcast=0 .

Create a transaction using the same inputs as the previous transaction.

1PhQapJkzBbZgLxi8Rv7hrKW7b2uVJihJ2 (0.0089 BTC)
18NaNtEddJAG5WRrFLz1zBwis7PEcJkSeR (0.03377093 BTC)
13UHEwp1EkH4SgwuT91B16irppdfK6r5XX (0.32274 BTC)

Adjust to higher fee, select whatever output address you want and click send.

I have sent it again now. Will see what happened. Used 400k Satoshi per kB now, did i fuck up? Transaction is 485 B. Lets see what happens. Now it has to go through.

What a weird coincidence, your old transaction with 20.08 sat/B  got re-broadcasted and actually went through now.

Weird.. I sent it again, to a new wallet adress (On Coinbase). Went through almost right away. Thanks for the help man! Wish it could be a double dip, haha! Cheesy

I feel really dumb now, but where do i place "-walletbroadcast=0" ? In the launch option somewhere? But im not sure where.. Or the command when bitcoin ccore is open?

I guess this is the only way to make it unstick..

You can either run from cmd bitcoin-qt/core -walletbroadcast=0 , or create a shortcut of bitcoin-qt/core and add -walletbroadcast=0 in the end of the 'target' field.

Sweet, i did this. Now i gotta zap my wallet i guess. I wish this would be more user friendly..

No accelerator will take it either, and some of them are down. I just can't get it confirmed. I hoped it would have dropped by now, but it is still pending.

I know i fucked up now, 20 sat / byte, but it was the recomended fee, and I did not calculate it.. Not so user friendly..

Any tips to how to get it through? Timing it perfectly, or do i need to pay? I see other with the same problem, but not with this long time pending... Any help would be nice.

Edit: I tried abandoning transaction and increase fee, but they are greyed out. Bitcoin core wallet.

Most transaction accelerators accept as low as 11 Sat/B

If that option is greyed out, then you must go to the Bitcoin Core datadir and delete the mempool.dat file. Then restart Bitcoin Core with the -walletbroadcast=0 option and then you should be able to use "Abandon Transaction".

If the above option fails for some reason, then you can start Bitcoin Core with the -zapwallettxes option to clear all unconfirmed transactions from your wallet.

Once the transaction is either Abandoned or cleared from the wallet, you can simply go to the Send tab and send the Bitcoin again but make sure that you include a sufficient transaction fee.

The transaction shows as "removed /expired" on https://www.blocktrail.com/BTC/tx/8cf13c3a51c9ae898b0950bab9e077891b59840831d13a2e411d8ed0e44918a6 and looks like the BTC has been returned to the 3 sending addresses, do you have control over the 3 sending addresses if not then ask the sender to re-send a new TX with your BTC?

Ehh. I sent it from Bitcoin Core wallet to Coinbase. To myself. The third adress i dont know... I guess i wanted it to drop instead. Maybe it wont if it is broadcasted all the time?
