posting your referral link is mostly considered spam too..
Well, a way to get past it is posting it alongside with a non referral link, it gives people the option to chose. Atleast I've never had one of my referral posts deleted by doing so.

that usually takes care of it

for example saying everything about a website and posting it's original link

and below it saying if you want to credit me for this post you can register over my referral link insert link here but you don't need to
hope I helped Smiley
Yup. I guess technically posting a referral link if it's On-topic isn't spam, but it sure makes you seem like a greedy bastard.

if you're posting something that isn't about the topic of the page it is spam
and they may consider it spam and ban you..
Also responding something On-topic that has already been typed in the post previously can be considered spam.
Mainly I don't think they ban though, mostly they remove the posts. However, if it keeps happening, chances are you get banned, yes.

Your post is indeed a spam, aka an unrelated post advertising your own a link, even if it is a group to DISCUSS Bitcoin, it is to discuss not to spam indesirable links

Well the orgin of SPAM was when your getting unwanted emails from unknown sources, usually your email was obtained without ur permission.
The word spam is not only related to online spam..! one can spam offline too..! but the time you mentioned those were the days when there was no social networks , forums etc and spammers used emails Tongue but now spamming is all over internet..! whether its a social network like FB , Twitter, or forums like bitcoin talk..! a bolg/website...! every where..!

Everyone.... Somebody stupid said me spam...  Grin

Anybody can explain me what is spam?

I read the group description, and it clearly says "No spam, only serious buy/sell adverts."
Just advertising a site for your own benefit is definitely spam.

I was making a post about bitcoin related and other crypto currency by giving a little invitation on a website that provides free bitcoin .. Is that wrong ?  Huh

Less than a minute I make a post , got the stupid idiot immediate reply with the words ;

"vote to ban "

Without a warning , a plausible reason ... unless he saw my point link and review ... will definitely need time to assess and deem it to be in the clear or not . It's less than a minute ...  Wink

When I asked ;

" Why ? "

He said ;

" Spam "

What the F * ck is it ... ? ?

If I made a mistake with their internal rules , at least they give me time to steer directly to the internal regulatory documents their pages ... and once I realized it was a mistake to me, without them I tire or delete these postings , I will remove the own ... So there is no resentment ...

Oh but it does not matter to me , because I did not get anything to join in the profits of the page , I just like it because it is associated Bitcoin page .... no more ....
Bro why the F you bother so much about a FB group.. I already told you FB is full with Idiots ..! what you did must have broken there group rules, nd it happens sometime if you did it accidentally, why do you bother so much , there are millions of fb groups out there, just smile and join others where you feel comfort Smiley  ..!

I actually see your post (it *is* your post, right?) as being spam, too.

Basically, it seems to be a discussion group for things related to BTC and HK.

The post was a direct advertisement to another website and added nothing to the discussion itself. You might think that "Oh, but it's free coins!" is relevant but, most of the time, it won't be.

If it was my personal group, I dunno about banning but I would at least delete that post.

Sorry.
Yeah there are rules in few fb groups which are strictly only for discussions but i think group admin must keep a check and must verify posts in that kind of groups..! This can be counted as spam if the group is only for discussions..! but Facebook is Indeed filled with idiots .!
