i wonder ..... how long to collect 1 BTC from faucet ?  Huh

May be years.
From what I read, you can get at most a few pennies an hour with faucets, and so you can probably get about $100-$200 a year for working 10 hours a day. Smiley

I just read the thread asking about any legit free Bitcoin sites, and most of the users commented that they are a waste a time. I was wondering if anyone had any good experiences with them?

It's a total waste of time! You don't get any substantial amount of BTC from them! It's good to get a few Satoshis and play around with them, but most people who use those faucets for a whole hours are excited when they make $0.10 an hour or something, which is literally wasting your time!
It's very exciting for people who never made anything online.. I think we all remember the first cents, btc or dollars we made online

I got my first 200k satoshis with faucets and it took me a month. :/ so no, forget about them, unles you can get high number of referals on freebitco.in, then you can gte some fair amount. Join a signature campaign here and you'll be good.

Faucets are too low reward to be worth it imo. You are better off working in mc donalds and buying btc.

They payout - but they payout very little. but, keep in mind to solve a captcha only takes you 10 seconds max of work. It's not like you are solving captchas for 8 hours a day  Smiley They are not a good source of income but they are useful as 'a little extra'

Well, it depends on what do you want, no one will give you free BTC. If you want small amount just to see what they are, you can attempt some faucets

Hi Red,

currently all faucet sites are pretty much a huge waste of time.

navigate over to the Marketplace -> services section and see if you can find a service where you can put a signature in your posts to do an ad campaign or something. see my signature??? i advertise for prime dice which is a high quality bitcoin gambling site that is provably fair! the best around!

try to see if you can find a deal like this, that pays you to post Smiley

If you're interested in collecting pennies then fair enough, go for them. But if you want to earn some BTC you have to provide a service such as writing posts on this forum and advertising companies (you need a member+ account which can be either bought or wait until 57 days) or writing articles.

Well when I started out, I used them, and I invested a lot of time, in getting referrals. Once you get enough refferrals, you do not have to solve those damned capthas anymore, because you get 50% from what other people are doing. {On some sites anyway}

1. https://freebitco.in
2. http://www.bitcoinzebra.com

Between the above two faucets, you can average about 30 000 satoshi a week. {Waste of time and electricity, but still more than what you would gain from 1GHs of CEX mining.}

So if you have zero BTC - Hit the 2 faucets above. {nothing to loose}

Ah alright that's a shame. It doesn't seem like mining is that profitable right now either.

Yup faucets are a waste of time, and you shouldn't spend a second on them, unless you don't have any ways to earn more than a few pennies an hour.

Faucets are a waste of time, however some sites will pay you to do consumer surveys for bitcoin and those pay ok. The best way is learn to make a website, and host ads that pay you bitcoin. If you site is successful you can earn quite alot of bitcoin. From what i hear signature campaigns are pretty good.
