As a lawyer pointed out to me, do not ask why they want bitcoins. Talk about the weather, fluffy bunnies, or bitcoins itself, but do not ask why they want the coins. At least in my area, if I can legitimately claim ignorance, if someone gets busted and says "yeah, that teamhugs guy sold them to me", I can defend with "i just completed a transaction, nothing more" and get un-involved in their case at that point.

Dude that's awesome (about gunbroker), I've been waiting for someone to accept bitcoins. I plan on watching your auctions with interest once I finish buying a couple (unrelated) things before keeping an eye on your stuff. So I won't have the funds until probably after January, but if you keep accepting bitcoins, I'll bookmark your gun broker site to watch the auctions

[edit, addition]: so I see you don't have any guns on there yet, but I'll keep watching! I think that would be an awesome service, you should buy guns and sell them on there at auction. Charge shipping to send to our FFL. My FFL will accept for $15, so I would totally do this.

this is when you know things are taking off! ( they said they would accept bitcoins instead of paypal lol)
