After 2 years of announcements and no proof of work, the anonymous Sugarexchange team announces the bankruptcy after raising over 2 million dollars on the exchanges.
 https://sugarexchange.io/

Hello.

I would like to report this crypto project which raised over 2 million dollars by selling coins on exchanges. In 2 years they did not show proof of work and on April 14, 2020 they announced the exit  scam on their website.

 Their website is: Sugarexchange.io

The website and logo were created by Natashya Bay (The Sky Guys Ltd) in late 2017.

 https://twitter.com/natashyabay
  https://www.zoominfo.com/p/Natashya-Bay/-2031462538
  https://theskyguys.ca/

Now, Natashya Bay has deleted all traces of Sugar from its websites.
https://web.archive.org/web/20180826134202/http://natashyabay.com/design/

These people worked / collaborated for the sugarexchange team, who therefore know the name of the founders:

SETH BANDI (Ldr Invest.)

 https://www.zoominfo.com/p/Seth-Bandi/-1154952310

RANKHIGHER. CA

They created the second website and worked on marketing with fraudulent videos and whitepapers.
 https://ca.linkedin.com/company/rankhigher-ca

MDULUS GLOBAL
They announced a Software Licensing Agremement in 2018, which has been deleted from their website.
https://www.modulusglobal.com/contact/
https://sludgefeed.com/sugar-exchange-announces-software-licensing-agreement-modulus-global/

From their addresses on Etherscan it can be seen that they have lost almost all the funds raised in 2018 by investing in Ico and not investing in their project.

The project started with airdrop. No ICO, no crowdsale. They promised impressive unique features and drew our attention. With limited supply and hype, price went to 1usd per token. It seems they had internal issues. They missed numerous deadlines, poor communication, hidden team members and zero trading volume make me think, they will never start the exchange. What do you guys think about it? Plz dont comment without appropriate news.

This is my first time to ever heard of this exchange. I must admit the name of the platform is quite attractive and very much marketable -- Sugar Exchange -- and is claiming to be "The market’s most usable, compliant, and secure cryptocurrency exchange platform." Good to hear that there was no ICO for the project and they just airdropped the tokens to interested individuals.

Now, I guess the devs and the management team of this project encountered some problems that is why the development got stalled. We know that getting into the exchange business can be profitable if done right since the market is really there but making it a thriving and successful can be another story. I am wishing they all come back and fulfill their words of promises to people who believe on them in the first place.

they promised.
Mate, every project gives promises just to attract investors to come to them. If they haven't delivered those promise that they have, they can have an excuse and if for the 2nd, 3rd and so on time, you should notice it that they promised just for the sake of investors.

The total volume for this exchange is almost dead although as you can see there's a 2 digit that still making it alive. Do you have funds sitting there or you have invested to their coin?

we should monitor it in the future, and SGR coins are only listed on Coinexchange.io how after the closure of Coinexchange.io will SGR tokens also die?

Nothing we can monitoring for this project, because no community activity, no more updates on their channel, and if you look their telegram group currently just 543 members left. Last chat happen on November 2017. Please insure the address provided is an ERC20 compatible wallet such as MEW. Tokens sent to a non ERC wallet or exchange address will be lost forever. https://t.me/SugarExchange/8

Its mean, this project already died long time before coinexchange.io

Based on their roadmap, Sugarexchange platform will come Q3 2019, but this month is the last month for Q3, but I don't see anything from the team. Their group member decreased from thousand. Today, just have 56 members. I think this platform will never come.

But, thank you for Sugarexchange, the first airdrop that I can sell it  Grin

Maybe the Sugarexchange Platform will be postponed again Q4 but why does the community leave the sugarxchange from thousands to 56, we should monitor it in the future, and SGR coins are only listed on Coinexchange.io how after the closure of Coinexchange.io will SGR tokens also die?

Again, good to check the legitimacy on CMC or at least the price movement,

I don't see any anything here, it's just like the rest of the altcoin market, down by 90%

Sugar Exchange Statistics:

Sugar Exchange Price    $0.001801 USD
Sugar Exchange ROI    -98.01%
Market Rank    #1523
Market Cap    $81,115 USD
24 Hour Volume    $12 USD
All Time High    $1.37 USD  (Jan 08, 2018)
All Time Low    $0.000160 USD (Jul 25, 2019)

Just look at the volumes in the last 24 hour, so I don't know if they can deliver their promises of an exchange in the future. There are also lots of projects before talking about rolling out a live exchange but we all got is numerous delays and empty and false promises. So its up to you guys to decide here.

The competition with all the exchanges sprouting today, it won't really make it. They'd have to do something very drastic to at least provide volume to it. $12 volume looks like only one person who trade there probably just unload what he had been carrying his shoulder. The number of exchanges who made it to the top 50-100 are in battle with the biggest who takes the biggest from the pie. Sugar-exchange only got a crumb.

Have thier own exchange is the exchange still active and have many users? If not then it will possibly close. I have been seen many exchange  that has been close because there are no income enter with the exchange thats why they decided to close it. The only bad thing about it if they close all deposit made to that exchange will also gone same as the exchange and also the balance will go to the owner .

I still remember, they stopped the deposit and started pump. It is easy to manipulate the price if volume is low. And they did the trick, wisely. At that time, we were in bull market and there was large price spike in every project

Just a garbage platform created by the team (scammer) that gives a big promise to build its own crap exchange site to scam others. A big promises just a trick created by the creator of sugarexchange coin to attract the buyers and no more. A few years passed and nothing happened, a crap coin will always be a crap coin.

May be my statement was unclear. Sugar has started already and their token is called sgr. All I want to say about sugar exchange. They planned to start their own exchange. There was no ICO, no IEO, started as airdrop. But they were listed on exchanges and was being traded with good volume. People invested on this project due to unique features of the upcoming exchanges, they promised.

IMO there aren't any real chances the exchange to start. Even then... this would be the last place I will trade.

Sugarexchange made the hook up with the airdrop to get attention and some primary userbase. I a moment when a lot of other exchanges used their native tokens for trading fee discounts, promos, etc. But in those scenarios they must show a real product quick or otherwise they will(are) losing the user's attention, and then - doomed.

As I understand they wanted to do something, but they could not. There have even been times when the price was $1,12 with a volume of $274,730. But it is questionable how it come out at such a high price without product. I can not find its name in the IDEX where it was listed, and coinexchange says it will close soon. In recent months the volume has been very very low, and even most days have remained at zero volume. The last tweet was on April 18. When we look at all this, I can not tell you that it will have a bright future. They have wanted to launch exchange since 2017, but after two years, there is nothing. If exchange is set up, maybe we can see any movement.

Do you think maybe when they got listed they dumped their premine and fucked off with the BTC?
you should know thats a VERY popular tactic for shitcoiners

-Promise the world, get community to fund your exchange listing  (sometimes they even pay the listing themselves with previous scam money)
-Dump premine, go dark, as you therefore have no more skin in the game once your premine is dumped
-Rinse and repeat

Sounds to me like thats what happened man

And it's a real strong possibility that what you said is true. Just look at the about page, "Sugar Exchange was started in 2017 by a pair of like-minded cryptocurrency investors." That's it. It is so easy to go with the wind and be gone forever without repercussions.

When we do talk about questions like if it would launch or something like that then no one would able to answer it out because all things will depend on the team.
Good to know that there were no ICO or sale happened but they do decide up to launch up some platform that tend to offer something new but now it doesnt still able to launch.
Why it do bothers you out? being able to launch or not will not really make any problems since theres no investor who do make funding.

Did heard of the project so I tried looking for its ANN thread but its not missing.

The only I found is this thread https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/sgr-sugar-exchange-coin-next-x100-2804408

One user speculated that its token will actually go up to $10 each, seem a bit stretch and some already claim scam. The website is up https://sugarexchange.io but exchange isn't yet launched. You can't really force them to work harder to make the launching of it faster, teams are waiting for the bullrun as they can't run it while the market is going to imminently kill the project.
