Why is that ?
I don't seem to understand well blockexplorer : when I check the donation address for erowid 1PkHvfna7fHNi1BnbYjFe5tRDLQZqLYLyz, which I used, I don't see my coins in the list... I sent them from an eXchanger, so I don't know the tx id nor the from address. Do I miss something ?

edit: I found my tx using blockchain.info
idk why it's not showing on blockexplorer...

I may have made a mistake. This would be in line with privacy, then anonymity, I believe. But the point I was trying to make is that erowid was not afraid to show how much they received via Bitcoin. And by not using a mixer, currently, they're showing the world what's still in their wallet.

EDIT: DUh, on closer inspection, they already accept bitcoins! Send some their way... http://www.erowid.org/donations/donations_bitcoin.php  Smiley

how did you actually find that link? it's not on their donations page, and not even on their 'anonymous donations' page.

nm, i see you can get to it by clicking the B logo... but it's strange that there are no other links to it.

They now seem to be holding. Haven't converted a single bitcoin since they put up the current address in October. Smiley

I won't suggest this in the Bitcoin 100 because it's probably too controversial for that project, but wouldn't erowid.org be the perfect site to accept bitcoins for donations?

If you'd support the efforts of erowid.org, send them an email asking if they accept bitcoins!

EDIT: DUh, on closer inspection, they already accept bitcoins! Send some their way... http://www.erowid.org/donations/donations_bitcoin.php  Smiley
