AFAIK it's not that he allowed them, but APNG was not widespread until 2017 or so (when Chrome started supporting it) so he didn't have detection implemented.

You are not allowed to infringe copyright, of course. I have no way of knowing whether you have a license to use particular images, and it's additionally sometimes difficult to determine whether fair use applies, so I will not be proactively removing possibly-infringing images. The DMCA process is used.

Copying someone's avatar in order to impersonate them or cause confusion is not allowed. But if you both use some generic picture of some famous person or something, that's probably not going to count, and using elements of someone's avatar for purposes other than impersonation will probably be allowed. Same for companies.

OK, APNGs are now detected. Old ones are grandfathered for now, in part because people have ongoing campaigns, but in the future I might (or might not) go through and remove them.

Such bad-languaged topic titles should be wipen out, but is it time to show power of Report button? I guess it is, and you can report any kind of topics with bad-languaged titles to moderator. You can do it manually (Report to Moderator on the right bottom of each post), or if you are lazy, there is userscript that can help you: [HACK] One-click mod report, not for the faint of heart32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

All you can do is ignore them, or engage them on their behavior. I don't recommend the second, I know I wouldn't like being told to stop saying the "shit has hit the fan" and I do use it a lot.
The best advice on this forum is to grow thicker skin. If that doesn't work use your ignore button, but you may miss out on some good conversation.
