I have 1450$ that I can use.

For $1450, you will be hard pressed to find an affordable BTC miner. There are indeed a lot of scams out there, so be careful. If you are uncertain, check here to see if there are listed as scam anywhere or just ask. As mentioned earlier, the ASIC manufacturers that have had a successful delivery are few. BFL is notorious around here for delaying their product about a year. Therefore, you likely won't find anyone actually advocating for them on their behalf in these forums. Their currently available offering of miners are and will be further outdated as newer, more efficient tech is already on the network.

If $1450 is your budget, it is likely that your most financially sound advice would be to purchase BTC and hold as previously mentioned.

Welcome to the forum.

You have to make research if it can be profitable first, then look for manufacturers who shipped without delays already like KNCminer

i think you should invest that in buying crypto coins rather then buying

i have seen many people saying they having issue with butterfly lab hardwares
so i think you should batter direct invest that money in crypto currencies

also if you decide to invest then use a gud money management that makes your investment successful
you less risk and secure profit then investing like a newbie
