Hello,

I've published recently a Bitcoin faucet using faucetbox script.
Looking for advice or suggestions on design and functionality of the faucet, so feel free to speak up.

Done list so far:

  • Paid for hosting and domain for a year.
  • Chosen FunCaptcha as captcha service.
  • Added anti Adblock script.
  • Set Rewards to 250/500/800/1000/16000 every hour.
  • Added some info about Bitcoin and Faucets.
  • Looked up monetizing coin faucet options.
  • Selected monetizing methods.
  • Facebook page added.

To do list:

  • Advertising the faucet.
  • Try to bulletproof the faucet against bots.
  • Add a custom template.
  • Add more points to "To do List".

My faucet address: http://goldenfishfaucet.com.
Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/BitcoinGoldenFishFaucet.
Thanks in advance for your input.
Good one but increase amount of rewards or atleast frequency instead of 6o minutes because of high competition people prefer faucets that pay high

I tried it and got 250. It is just like every other faucet out there. You really need to be unique to stand out and get a nice user base built up.

Best of luck to you.

Once you get it up to 700 for minimum payout I'll add it to my rotator.  (see: strokemonkey.com)

Added 250 minimum reward so it's not profitable for bots users. I would gladly make it 1000 min reward for my faucet.

Very good.

Keep working, friend.

Tell me, are you getting some profit from your faucet?

By estimated earnings I break even now. But it's bound to change by the end of the month.

Thank you for all the input. Adsense finally came through, they rejected my faucet few times but I didn't  give up. Had to actually look up for advices how to get accepted for Adsense program. Modyfied reward system a little bit for a tiny decrease in traffic but it won't go dry now. Registered the site in Alexa, Google Analitics, getting some good results overall. My advice for anyone new in publishing websites: Don't install to many widgets, it will make your site load longer.
how can you know adsense ads will show, i have faucet and still not published because my google adsense ads not show Sad can you help me

reward 500 satoshi minimum not is more high, more faucet pay more of 1000 minimum, and % of win only 500 satoshi is very high ( 75% ).

the banner you have choice pay very low, why don't add adsense?

My advice is to start paying low and installing ads. This way will learn how to incrase your rewards with "health".

What I'm saying is: Don't lose all your satoshis paying high rewards if you are not profiting yet.

referral comission is too low, nobody will promote your faucet
revenue from adbitco (if you have less than 2500-3000 visitors) and a-ads is too low, you need adsense and maybe bitmedia
your design is so typical, need something unique

This isn't true, the referral part.

15-30% is fair. Standout by being higher than that.

Don't listen to the people who have posted about higher rewards - crawl before you walk.

Your first month will give you an idea of whether you are offering too much or too little. At that rate expect to pay 0.04ish per day (can you sustain this over a month? 1.2 BTC?

Balance your payouts accordingly, unless you have a big budget of coins, or are just rich and very friendly Smiley

I'm hoping to earn at least 0.03 btc this week but before I only earn 0.01 btc a week from faucets+giveaways. My signature campaign will change my earnings per week!

Everything looks good! I have added a link to your site from mine.
My best suggestion is to be different than the rest.
Do something different to stand out from the hundreds of other faucets.

Your rewards are above average and the referral commission is indeed high, at this point you do not have enough ads to support your faucet so 50% referral commission is not a good idea.

Stick to funcaptcha, but do not add more than 2 options to solve

Submit your site to top bitcoin faucet rotators, start with Ifaucet, smartrotator and Scanthebox (Faucetbox)

The most important thing, advertising, you already have added a-ads, add coinurl, coinadvert. Increase your alexa rank and submit your website to Bitmedia and mellowads, if you do not have adsense then these two are the best option.

Best of luck with your site Smiley

Hi , regarding your design , its exactly like many other that are already out there , maybe try to use a template to make it more professional or better if you could desin one and in terms of functionality , its perfect , tested and got 500 so far

I will think about a template. Going to my "To do List".

referral comission is too low, nobody will promote your faucet

Updated to 50%.

i suggest only one difference. remove funcaptha is really a lose time for user, 2 to 4 request for 1 capthca lose minimum 10 second. Use recaptcha 2 or are u human

Recaptcha can be bypass by captcha solving services, that uses proxies to connect to your site. I would like to keep traffic from proxies to minimum if I can.

Design is not as important as the payouts (as i've seen).

500 sats per hours is quite good.

What matters the most is your budget. Keep it mind, if your faucet gets popular, you'll spend 6 to 10 million sats per day to keep it alive. This will be for a couple of months until you start getting some revenue from adsense.
