Before buying hardware for mining I'd highly recommend doing some research if your electricity-price is low enough for mining to be profitable (if you haven't done so already).

You paid $408.46 for an EVGA Geforce GT440? I might be wrong but isn't this GPU from somewhere around 2010?  Huh

Hahaha.
What a bad scammer, nobody is going to fall for that.
doesn't seem to me, they have an amazon account with reviews on their products, so i wouldn't call this scam, since its the same name, but i think it's better to buy at amazon because of refunds.

Should you ever buy a Graphics Card that was used for mining?

Is it possible to check if a Graphics Card was used for mining?

Any other advice when it comes to gamers looking for bargains on expensive GPU's?

I just paid $408.46 on a Manufacturer Refurbished EVGA Geforce GT440 1GB DDR3 Dual DVI HDMI Video Graphics Card and I'm unsure if it was used for mining but I have my suspicions. The price on Newegg is around $650 so I took the risk and am asking questions later. Perhaps not the smartest decision, but I do plan on immediately running some benchmarks on the card, as it came with a 14 day full-refund/replacement guarantee form the seller, who also had a 100% rating, not that that's saying much...

Btw I purchased it from this site https://harddiskdirect.com/01g-p3-1441-kr-evga-geforce-gt440-1gb-ddr3-dual-dvi-hdmi-video-graphics-card.html

Their service is top-notch I am just looking for the advice on this card

Thanks in advance for any advice.
