Dear all,
I am totally new with this setup. I want to know everything about mining with BITMAIN AntMiner S9.
Those who are mining with this at present, are requested to help me setting up a BITCOIN MINING center.

you would want to search for philipma1957  posts on this forum

he owns a solar energy based miner farm and he runs at least 5 s9,so he is the best guy for you to ask questions about s9 miner farms

One advantage of the S9 over previous designs is that it makes less noise and less heat so your cooling cost is lower than the S7. R4 is still the best of them all but I'm not sure Bitmain still has anymore as at now.

The S9 I have had good luck with but I would not consider it a quiet miner.  You must be downclocking it a way's to get it even close to quiet.  And also most at this point use server PSU's on them and they are not quiet for most part either.  These are not problems for me with my mining area but a S7/S9 in some places might be to loud.   There are some who have made boxes or other things to help soundproof and that can make a difference.

But if quiet is what your looking for there are some older generation stuff that are much more quiet.  Or wait and hope to see more of R4.   But hard to predict what is happening there so would not build a "mining center" waiting on R4's.

But OP you need to go into so much more detail's and you really are going to have to do a lot of research to.  We really cannot set up your mining area , but can help on some aspect's.  But again need a lot more info.  I suggest reading some other threads on this or look at picture thread for idea's.  Come back with what you want, budget, etc.  And you will find much better help.

Just been extremely direct: it's the best mining hardware until these days, I mean, cost x benefit. but "the song remains the same".. cheap electriciy, low cost hardware... use the poewr supply bitmaintech offers, because of the quantity of plugs... any "normal" commercial PSU has that specs. Try to keep your miners in a open place and with low temperature (not humidity).. don't use air conditioner in closed places and don't use ir in your bedroom ( I mean, for example, 4 units... it will suck your clean air and you'll day without breathing. But its nice, cheap and efficient. Suport is also very nice to talk any time you want.

Bitcoin FTW!
You've provided us with no information whatsoever on how your datacenter is cooled, how much electricity costs, and information like that. What's your budget, even? Mining is difficult stuff to figure out at first, and I suggest reading a few other things on the forum to help you decide. Providing us with the info I've listed is a good way to start.

Mine at Jonny's Pool
How much available power does this "mining center" have?  What are the costs of that power?  What is the cooling situation?  Shelving and cabling?  Other equipment like switches, routers, power supplies, etc?  How many S9s are you planning to bring online?  Are there other costs associated with this space (like rent/lease/employee payroll)?

All of those are sunk costs.  Some are immediate, others are ongoing.

Let's assume you are planning to put up 100 S9s.  That's roughly 1.3PH.  Just the hardware alone will run you about $200,000.  At current difficulty, that 1.3PH expects to earn you about $27,000 a month.  Just to recoup your hardware costs (assuming no network difficulty increases and BTC price remaining stable) will take you about 7.5 months.  That doesn't include any other expenses like power, maintenance, rent/lease, etc.
