Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
What this board need is very strict moderators and don't mind to ban someone for breaking the forum rules.

Indeed forum moderators respond to most of the reports so what we have to do is to report the posts that we think it is spam/low value/ generic one-liner but who is taking such time to report all these posts and if we do then it would be clean.

IMO, it used to be a chaotic board in 2018 but now it is much cleaner than it used to be which shows the progression.

One thread for meme coin looks good though but it should be implemented by the admin not by the community members until that users are allowed to create their threads in the way they want.
I'm glad you all like the idea of making the board more clear that it used to be by either reporting low quality post and OPs locking some thread that are no longer useful to an extent.

I also feel like the mods (mprep) is no longer as active as before to look into the new situations of the board, and other global mods are not long interested in visiting the board because it has been recorded as shitty board and since in always posting here I'm not too comfortable with my our post being considered in that category because of the board where it is being posted.

None of those worthless and repeated posts will be stopped by the posters, that is the reason why you see this board as the most spam fist ground, since it also house the bounty section which is filled with loads of junks posts and social media links from bounty hunter and new project who flood this board just to push their presence to put face.

What I do mostly is to always report such posts and thread's that seems to be just repetition of worlds and whatever shit posting styles that are employ here in the altcoins board, just that moderating this board is a lot of work since in every second tons of worthless post's/threads get ditched out here, having more moderators could help alot.

Here are my suggestions regarding how we can manage to control the level of shitposting in this board:
Members can lock there threads after one or two pages of it's satisfaction; we should always check out our threads to find out if the desire answers have been given and once it has been reached the OP should lock the thread.

I also suggest that all post relating to the latest memecoins projects, should be in one thread to avoid numerous of threads with very low quality.

Additionally, we can fix this board gradually by reducing the way repeat questions: if you check properly in this board you would find several threads asking the same question such as; among this altcoins which one do you think will perform best, Vote the best memecoins this season etc.
I think such threads should be compressed into one thread that would help the board to begin to look better.
Unfortunately even they read your post, which you suggest to lock their topics, they will never lock their topics since they don't care at all.

Your second suggestion to post "update" on one thread will not work too because what they care are their shitcoins will be viewed by a lot people rather than to make this board become clean.

What this board need is very strict moderators and don't mind to ban someone for breaking the forum rules.

This is an altcoins discussion board and I think that any discussion that is related to altcoins should be allowed to be discussed, it doesn't matter if they're related, so far there's a little difference, then it should be allowed. Altcoin discussions have similarities and if you don't accommodate them what else are we going to discuss here in this board? You can't bring discussions from any other boards to this board, that'll be the real spamming, so I suggest that we leave it as it is, accommodate any new information on altcoins, even if it looks similar to others.

If you have one thread for memecoins, it'll become a mega thread and boring, so I don't mind seeing a new memecoin thread with a new information. Let it be at the OP discretion to lock a thread, or if anybody has a problem with a thread, the best thing to do is report it.

Yes. Of course, as long as the discussion is related to what is currently happening in the market, especially Altcoins, I agree and that's okay. But those who create and ask questions should have weight and be useful and if they are read by other friends they will also increase their insight.

I agree with you, I noticed that every day there are more and more inappropriate topics on this Altcoin Discussion board. But how do we delete those unimportant topics with our own hands? the answer is "We Can't". But we have 2 other ways, the first is by reporting the topics to the moderator, and the second is by not responding to the topics so that the topics will sink by themselves.

I agree about locking of thread. I’ve seen a couple posters lock their thread after getting the response needed. However, putting all memecoin project in one thread doesn’t sound right. Asides from the importance of separate arrangement, there are too many memecoins in the market to put them in one thread. It will become unreadable and there will be conflicts because it is multiple topics and projects being discussed in the same room.

You are right but it would need extra consideration and moderation not only by who posted the thread but just the moderator in general. There are a lot of people who still seek posts from years ago and it might not be as relevant or significant anymore today which just turns to be a useless bump in the board.

Personally I think a day or two might be a little too much. Maybe a month would be adequate time for anyone to reply and then close it by then.

That would be hard since one might not still get the answer they want even after one or two pages. Plus sometimes more discussion are going on that aren’t necessarily related to the original post anymore which I don’t think is a bad thing exactly.

There’s multiple topics that can be talked about in relation to memecoins so that might not be very effective.

Obviously that would be ideal but some people do not bother to check whether a post has already been made so I suggest having a better and quicker search engine so that it’s easier to search for topics.

Since I have been posting in this board, I noticed that most of the things that we discusses in several threads are just the same things, perhaps they are either paraphrased or sharped in terms of word usage whereas they all say the same thing.

I also see a lot of spammers posting so many projects promotions in disguise trying to frame it as a useful discussion when it's just about the so called shitcoin they advertises.
So it occurred to me to create a thread suggesting we keep the board clear with our own hands, most times in meta board when the issue of the forum boards are discussed altcoins discussions are considered spam board which not okay with. How about we make this board more clean and serious by discarding irrelevant threads and locking threads that have satisfied it's creation.

what do you guys think? I will be locking the thread after 24hrs or in less that a day. thanks
It could be same things but only if we talk about its core otherwise there is always a value addition if you see it more deeply and clearly.

The question are posted based on the queries and every mind has a different query so it's not that everyone is thinking the same way and the responders are responding in the same way it's not possible.
