Be careful with fundraisers.

There's are official non-government organizations that have raised already their funding to help Ukraine. If it's not from a known person or organization or not actually from the government of Ukraine.

Don't be gullible to send to them.

Check them out and send your donations to the official organizations but you can send it directly to them if it's in crypto.

Well, nice move by you the OP. But I think it will be good if you try to promote outside the forum to reach a wider audience. And it will be wiser if you write who you are here, I don't suspect you are playing with this matter, not offending you, but I think some people have the same thoughts as me.
op has been tagged with a red flag, taking advantage of the moment of war for personal gain is a despicable act. for people who want to donate to ukraine, you should look for a verified one, don't just donate to an account that is not clear, especially a newbie.
Yeah, it's hard to trust a person that has no solid background or reputation when it comes to this matter. What's only interesting here is that he is selling an item and not directly asking for a donation by posting a crypto address. He still did some effort but the effort seem to be not sincere judging by the NFT that he made which looks pretty simple. It was like a JPG image stolen on the web and he only added some text.

There is already an official post from the Ukrainian government on Twitter. If we want to donate we better donate only to that address they posted. That should be enough for them because Twitter is already a big place and the post are also confirmed by famous crypto personalities for the confidence of others.

In spite of the Russian invasion of Ukraine beginning on the 24th, this guy somehow knew that Ukraine would need humanitarian aid even two days before. How is that possible? He had to have some inside knowledge of unfolding events.

Putin, is that you?!

If you and anyone who's interested in sending help and aid in Ukraine through cryptocurrencies, there's no need to go through an NFT. It's better to just check the addresses they've posted on their twitter account: https://twitter.com/Ukraine
They have it pinned so that everyone can see it immediately. Just check the account and it has 1.4M followers and is verified by Twitter.

Op, if you are sincere with your initiative, put all 3 crypto addresses written in this tweet in your first post. This is the official donation address which will be received directly by Ukrainian officials without any 3rd party. So far it has received more than $10m in donations from the entire crypto community.

In my opinion, donating through nft is not good because it is difficult to get trust in crypto especially if you create a donation channel through nft
why not go through a clear and transparent platform maybe with transparency many people will trust more.

Good afternoon, dear crypto community.

I propose to unite in this difficult time and launch a flash mob to support democracy, freedom and peace in Ukraine.

Your small donation and participation can greatly help those in need.

All proceeds from the sale will go to help the people of Ukraine. I will be happy to answer all questions and listen to any suggestions.

Please find collection here:

Your goal is indeed noble but you can't be sure whether the funds collected will be distributed to Ukrainian citizens who need funds since you're still a newbie. there is currently a fundraiser for ukraine citizens via bitcoin and i prefer to donate there.

Thank you for your answer.
That's why I asked for any suggestions, I have many ways to help people, but, obviously, trust is the biggest problem.
Probably, the best way will be to create some organization and then mint NFT's to increase people's trust?

Why use NFT though? Why are you so keen on chosing NFT as a medium for donations? Why go through all the trouble of minting an NFT to donate for the greater cause? This isn't the time to be crypto-creative, just utilize what we currently have and donate through those various NGOs and trusted organizations. If you want transparency, well, most popular cryptos like BTC/ETH and even stablecoins already have that.
One could say you're just riding the news to make some quick cash grab.

So many scammers are using this idea to do fake fundraising and they claimed the funds will be used to help people in the country like ukraine.

Why don't you just use the common ways that used by so many people to get charity? this will be far better rather than it. people in the crypto know this so well and remember if you must also be transparent at all.

You are absolutely right, in the crypto space it is very difficult to build trust. For that I don't think it's necessary to make a donation subject like NFT to make it look more trustworthy, just campaign your initiative so that people donate their money to existing official or trusted organizations. Some list of fundraisers for ukraine I found:

I will be happy to answer all questions
If we have an official fundraising organization or agency for Ukrainians, why should we donate through random people on the Internet? How to make sure the donation will reach the place?
I am not preventing or influencing anyone to donate to Ukraine, at least be a smart and wise donor.

I am also from Ukraine and live in the border area to Russia.  it’s very scary to think what awaits in the future, but I really want to believe that Putin will calm down his ardor.  we decide our own fate in our homeland.
Sorry for the situation in your country. But it's very strange if you don't respond to anything from the way the OP collects donations in the name of help for ukraine while he doesn't explain from any representatives.
