Well for me security should be a priority. Scams considerably damage an exchange's credibility so they have to put that at utmost importance. And also transaction time and lower transaction fees. It would really be a hassle to have to pay for a high amount if you're going to withdraw yoir btcs and it takes more than 24hrs.

Hi,

We are going to upgrade bitcoin exchange shortly. Could you share thoughts from your own experience: what usually irritates you most about bitcoin exchanges? And what specific features you adore?

Thank you

Depend my experience, a good exchanger must have transparent transaction. Exchanger can't say " we already send it to your account " without showing proof. Second thing must have friendly support that will never leave unsolved problem, must finish today. Last one, they have a simple platform to use by members. Not easy to become exchanger but there's trust and profit can take. Good luck.

There should be a vault or something like that to separate some coins for investing from trading.

You know exchanges today especially the popular and famous ones are good in terms of dealing with the actual trades. The problem is when the time comes that they are experiencing large volumes, they can't handled it too much. Especially deposit and withdrawals transfers.

Number 1 thing that all traders needs to an exchanges is ABILITY TO HANDLE SUPPORT. Less than 24 hours to response is fine but waiting for a week is ridiculous. Also agree with the above poster, if possible, private keys are being handed to the user itself.

Withdrawals and support should not take more than a day to process. Im thinking i put my money in the exchange, i should be able to withdraw it whenever i want.

A perfect exchange shouldn't have any fees or low as hell just to help the developers of the platform, It should be both decentralized and open source, users should have control over their private keys, the user interface and user experience need to be great, the ability for the traders to message and contact each other easily within the platform.
