>that 30 years old boomer that invested in bitcoin early.
Of all my acquaintances that are into crypto or bitcoin, the youngest would be in mid 20s and the rest are in 30s or more. It is not really hard to guess since back in the year 2000s with most of us are teenagers who got plenty of time and nothing to do, searching over the internet for the ways to making money.

I m 79, and I don't seem to be on the histogram. I guess my bar has gone floppy with age. 😢

Bitcoin is only 12 years old, but its fans can be much older.

I opened this topic to be a statistic genre, to get an idea of the age of people who have Bitcoin.
I think it would be interesting to know this, not only out of curiosity but also as a statistical and performance analysis tool that Bitcoin has been saying.

Also, recently Forbes did an article on the age of people who have Bitcoin, concluding that most people are between 18-29 years old. Is it really so?
Quote
Cryptocurrency is most popular with young adults: 31% of people ages 18 to 29 have used it, compared to 21% of people ages 30 to 49, 8% of people ages 50 to 64 and 3% of people age 65 or over.

This information can be interesting, since within a few tens of years, some who now have Bitcoin will no longer be alive.
Will they pass their Bitcoins on to their heirs, or will they simply get lost?

I’m in the 30-39 category but this forum is too small a sample size to get a definitive answer. The age of most bitcoin users varies. Anybody over the age of 18 is likely to be a bitcoin adopter soon.

Of course, the age of Bitcoin users varies: 20-70 years, the highest is around 27-28-29-30 years, active users.

You can see it in the source below, created by: Jeremiah Bohr & masooda Bashir.
From the universities of wisconsin and llinois.

Age Distribution of Bitcoin User Sample.

One more thing, you will get positive ideas and support about this thread, if you make it on a Bitcoin discussion board, there is worth it.

I thought of putting it here, because it's a poll/statistics for forum members.

But if the moderators feel it will be appropriate elsewhere. I apologize and ask the moderators to adjust accordingly.
It would definitely be moved. Meta board should be about posts regarding this forum, strictly about this forum, I mean about Bitcointalk itself.

You can move it to Bitcoin Discussion.
