One way of escaping a bear encountered in the woods is to play dead.  Best way to survive a bear market is to play dead and don't panic sell what you bought.  It should come back to new heights if you're just patient.

I experience that myself, the best way is to hold when everyone is panic selling but it takes a lot of courage to do that but if you think that the market will correct the price overtime, then you are safe .

Why the hell would you bother surviving an alt crash by buying even more alts? Knackered old Bitcoin is looking rather buoyant right now.

Agreed. I think Bitcoin and Litecoin are the way to survive an Alt Crash !

The litecoin might not survive.
As soon as SegWit starts getting acceptance on Bitcoin, Litecoin will drop like a stone.

Until the next technological hurdle anyway.

Too bad SegWit will not get acceptance.

Very nice example and actually right on giving a suggestion. When bear market moves then better to play dead and do nothing at all and panic selling are just for those who have weak hearts.lol. This is actually not a guide which being stated on the Topic title but just a full listing of altcoins which have certain prices and theres nothing special at all.

In Cryptocoins I Trust
Massive amounts of blood will be spilled when shit hits the fan across all cryptos. There is no safehaven from a crypto bear market, other than investments/assets outside of cryptocurrencies (FIAT, stocks, savings, FIAT crypto derivatives, etc.) You want to have plenty of liquid FIAT on hand when things get real, because the best survival tactic is buying your portfolio back after the entire market bottoms out as a whole.

After some observation of recent mini-dumps:

The following major alts will be the worst when shit hits the fan:

1: Stellar Lumens ($0.03)
2: Ripple ($0.15)
3: NEM ($0.11)
4: Bitshares ($0.05)
5: Steem ($1.13)

These are for survival (they will also fall, but less):

1: Bitcoin ($1750)
2: Monero ($30.5)
3: Litecoin ($27)
4: Ethereum ($90)
5: Decred ($17.3)

And maybe Dash/Pivx...
