I think you miss the point of Democracy, son. What you're looking for is a dictatorship that changes direction every 4-8 years.

Idealizing democracy exemplifies that you do not understand democracy:

Two of the RINOs voted against the appointment of Betsy DeVos as the education secretary, but the others including Lindsey Graham and John McCain voted with GOP. The Republicans need to learn something from the Democrats, who always vote along the party line. And this lack of unity is the reason why some people are reluctant to support the GOP.
I don't quite agree with you. A lot of voting in Congress occurs together Republicans and Democrats. For example, the introduction of sanctions against Russia. There probably is another reason.

If politicians just voted the party line, what's the point in voting for them? They literally serve no purpose if they don't use some independent thought and cognitive thinking about whether the impact of the vote will benefit the electorate in their district.

By the way, DeVos still won, so what's the problem?

Does this independent thought and cognitive thinking exist only among the Republicans? We very rarely see any of the Democrat senators or House members voting for the measures introduced by the GOP.

Never trust women with roles of highly strategic responsibility.

They love drama and vote their emotions and perspective as nurturers and consensus builders (or with their destructive hindbrain).
