Exactly I can't understand if this promotion is still ongoing and OP still offers to pay back 0.02BTC if one buys this membership for 0.01BTC or not?
Looks like he does from the OP but not from comments in the thread.
I guess you missed it. It had two phase:
1st one time offer for the user who will claim first was taken by malevolent (one of the staff member). He stayed neutral. if you read his responses in this topic, you will notice that he was not vouching for itcoinbay but itcoinbay using this such a way that it was a vouch from malevolent.
Then the latest topic was his 2nd one time offer again for the first one who will claim and I was the one who joined the conversation first but at some point I realized he is doing it all wrong.
So far if I am not wrong then he has not got anyone yet.

Thanks for this explanation.

All these members who have doubts are totally right. This looks like an obvious attempt to scam. I know that this member hasn't scam already but there is no other explanation for what he is actually doing. This web page looks like he doesn't care about this online business and only want to attract people with this very "honest" offer.

There is no way that anybody is able to make even a cent from such a web service. I just don't see any sense here besides a scam.

Ive pointed out some things
im pretty certain its hyip built on ref's paid from ref's. exit at some point.
Site's not very "convincing"

Your concept seems like a broken pyramid.
You posted a virtual office as your location.
Youre using domainsbyproxy but not cloudflare on a auction platform with cryptocurrency.

Sign a wallet with funds you plan to match our contribution for proofs and easier participation?
This would address main concerns for most users.
If you can establish credibility with this it might help a lot .
the other things are "fixable" but could be a problem for yourself and users (get cloudflare!)

Isn't this "pay 0.01, get 0.02" a one-time promotion for only one user, which was taken by a Staff member already?...

Now that you pointed it out, it does not sound like a vouch at all. However malevolent is .01 BTC richer. I gather from looking more into this case, the send first deal seems to have been only good for one member. too bad; I could have used the .01 BTC. I'm definitely not going to send first now.

Knowing that malevolent is a staff member of this forum, the user can create exceptions on who he is scamming so as to get some form of good rep, so I won't buy it even if malevolent got something out of the deal. If, maybe someone else apart from a staff member took the offer, it could have gone a different path. Til then we could only speculate.

Isn't this "pay 0.01, get 0.02" a one-time promotion for only one user, which was taken by a Staff member already? It might just be a (failed/naive) promotion from someone, and isn't necessarily a scammer running a "Bitcoin doubler" ponzi. I have my doubts here, and even though it's usually scammers who come up with this, I can imagine a honest clueless Newbie can think this is a good idea to promote his website.
If this is the case then I am happy however I can not read someones mind. If I find out that  I have proven wrong then as I said earlier, I will apology. But till now I do not see any reason for me not to bring this to the forum members attention.

If you want the offer, first apologize in a reply for accusing us of scamming and then you can take us up on the offer if you want.
Sorry bud, no apology yet since I still suspect that you possibly have this intention to scam others. If I am proven wrong then may be you will get it, I will not have any issue to say sorry then.

LOL he is and I lost my chance because I spoke up :-P

*** Update: Offer not valid for existing VIP members or Royse777 (unless he apologizes) since he has such a loose mouth.

Honestly speaking I have no intention to make his business look bad but this is truly unacceptable. If itcoinbay does not change his marketing method, he will most probably lose business from here. It's not helping him.

I read the thread further, and I see a vouch from a staff member.  Now I am thinking that I may have been quick on the draw here.
It's rarely a vouch. You may read this:
I did not approach him with the offer. The offer was available for everyone to take, and seeing no one was taking it I took it, thus far it only speaks of OP that he's willing to send free money. It's not a review when I haven't even bought or listed anything on his site yet.

I have also criticized his site, his business model, and pretty much called him a scammer in the other thead (as other users did, too). I told him trust takes time to build, as most users prudently take the caveat emptor maxim to their hearts.

This does not sound vouch to me at all. Does it?

Glad you did. I was wondering why no one is paying any attention to this case. We have seen in various occasions people to get scammed in this kind of offers.

since the OP changed the title of his thread, I noticed my post was off topic so I moved it here. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.51889576

Sorry you had to move that. I left a response in you post however I hope LoyceV don't delete it :-P

Seems like a dubious offer. I will support your flag.

Archived, just in case.

Flag supported, as it is obvious a pyramid scheme.  Sad to see so many people still getting scammed in those schemes..

I am just curious why there are no support yet. Can anyone please discuss about it?

The guy is asking users to buy membership (pay 0.01BTC) then he will give the users 2x of the BTC they paid. Isn't it suspicious?

I will just quote some part of the conversation I had with the user:

Wait!
So you are saying, I pay first to buy the membership and once done then you will send 0.02BTC to me?

Yes, that is exactly what I'm saying. Register first, then click on Store and purchase the VIP membership. And don't forget the Referral Code!
Bud!
You know you are not making sense? Why would anyone needs to pay first where you are willing to give them 0.02BTC. Isn't it more logical to give 0.02BTC in the system then let them pay for the membership unless you are trying to scam innocent users?

This is a very well known scamming trick and you can not sell it to me unfortunately. I am going to make sure that you are getting tagged by the DT users. Please do not scam innocent people around.

I will tag this user shortly. I hope some DTs come forward too.

Cheers :-)
