Hello. I've been thinking of susucoin. I don't think that susucoin needs listing on any exchange, because susucoin is mainly focusing on free-speech platfroms. We can't buy free-speech for any cost, can we? Susucoin is not crypto"currency" but an invaluable crypto"tool" for free-speech.

To be sure, I also take into account the fact that some people think susucoin is no longer of any use because much susucoin has already been mined, due to the ease with which it is mined by using sha256d asic. This would result in disrupting the main purpose of susucoin. However, there won't be any miners willing to mine susucoin and create blocks if they can't make profit from mining. Therefore, we need another way to give profit to miners. For instance, it would be good that we can use susucoin to get special services in platforms like 5ch's ronin.

P.S. 12.02
I thought susu team would sell when susucoin listed. I heard it is not the case with susucoin.
As long as susu price is purely depending on how much people need it, it's good to have exchange.
Some altcoin projects in fact are seeking only to get profit from selling their premine.

A quick update:

Many users have been asking for more information about susucoin. Thereore, we have now opened an official wiki page for susucoin. Please visit here:
https://wiki.susukino.com/

Some people have asked who the cartoon character is. Her name is Susuko. You can find information about Susuko here:
https://susukino.com/who-is-susuko.html

We have begun archiving speech the past few days and will be rolling out more integration and an easy-to-use API soon.

The first 512kb OPT_RETURN transaction has been mined earlier:
`f7cf392ed1764b0ac68a266c7d10498f7d1016c72b24bbf2a4ca08e8e095f16d`

The message contained within is:
```Welcome to Susucoin data storage. This is one of the first messages, if not the first one, that is 512 bytes long. Remember, that whatever you put here, stays forever! Please keep that in mind. This message was formed to prove, that there will be no fork needed to include such long messages in the blockchain, because those messages aren't invalid, they are just non-standard. Will 512 be enough,though? Will SUMO be such a good form of compression, that it will suffice? Let's hope so! --Anonymous Western Anon```
We are improving the blockchain explorer to allow native message viewing capabilities, but its still under development - will announce here when it is ready.
The SUMO protocol white paper should be published this week with information about how we plan to structure archiving thoughts on the blockchain.
An english-language FAQ is coming soon, along with some more information about our mission and project goals.
True, i agree with you. the name "Susucoin" sounds strange. Why they choose "Susu" as the name of coins, I think still many other good names can be applied as the name of coins. And when I visited its website, I found a cartoon image that has no correlation with this project. Moreover, they provide lack information there. hmm.. For me, they should fix those problems firstly to make people trust in this project.  Huh
Indeed susu is doing well for a new coin. I love the 1 block diff regeneration.
The 1 block diff regeneration really is working very well and should scale up with growth easily due to the strenghts of the LWMA.
We are currently finishing up the implementation details and specifications of the susucoin blockchain text archiving system, codenamed SUMO. After SUMO is ready, we will be forking susucoin to a 512 byte OPT_RETURN to accommodate the extended functionality provided by SUMO.
Susucoin's official blockchain explorer is coming soon too.
Due to a large amount of the initial blocks being orphaned due to a bug in the susucoin core wallet, I am planning to reset the susucoin genesis block and start over. I will pre-announce the start of mining here after testing is complete. Sorry for the inconvenience, but I think this is the best way to proceed for the best long-term development and maintenance of susucoin.
Instead of hard forking to a slower target spacing, I decided to build more full nodes on vps around the world. With improved latency we should have better connectivity and in theory that should help us prevent seeing so many orphans while pool mining.
I have setup a discord server if anybody wants to join and ask me questions.
Ive been thinking about this all day. There are many orphaned blocks from miners in pools. It seems to be a network latency issue. The target spacing is currently set to 2 minutes. If the target spacing is changed to 5 minutes, it should fix the latency issue with pools not syncing properly within the 2 minute target space. Tomorrow I will setup some more seed nodes around the world, and update the source code for a 5 minute target spacing. I have made an issue on the susucoin-project github for this.
This morning with a fresh mind, I think I found the problem with the mining pools. There was a typo in my seed node's susucoin.conf file. The port number was set incorrectly, overriding the default of 9432. It is set correctly now, and in theory should work correctly with pools now.
Please let me know if there are still any problems with mining. Sorry for all the trouble yesterday.
Do we need to recompile the code to get this fixed or just a restart of the daemon would do? Please let us know what do we need to do from the pool end?  We are getting all orphan blocks as of now...
Restarting the daemon should just work.
I am receiving many complaints about pools being unable to mine Susucoin. Was working on debugging it last night [I am based in Asia], but fell asleep before I could finish debugging. Will work on getting this problem resolved today. Sorry for any delay or disappointment in your mining pools.
Windows wallet seems to be working fine, and I have put it back on the website for download. The segwit addresses aren't working well yet due to lack of witnesses. Please use the non-segwit addresses for now.
Ok. There seems to be a problem with windows wallets receiving coins at the moment. Working on fixing this.
yep no coin on wallet..... last update on gh 6h
Susucoin is already up to height 1630. Plenty of people are connecting, mining, and receiving coins. What exactly is your bug? Mind sending some debug information so I can see what the trouble is?
There seems to be a bug in the wallet. The address is wrong it wont accept the coin
@Dev, please fix the wallet
Which address is wrong? Please send me some more debug info so I can check what the problem is.
It is something strange. There is no project goal. And concerning the whitepaper.. it seems like it was written by fairyteller Tongue.
As written in the white paper, the project goal is to secure free speech by assisting the largest anonymous free speech platforms.
For example:
The wallet generates two diferent type of address, one starting with T -
ThGpnvZAyF2AJvmqQQrLvJSgCGxgYySi6V
other starting with Sus
if mine on T adres coins not go to wallet even if you mine them
Edit : Tried to send coins on the T address it goes
Ok. There seems to be a problem with windows wallets receiving coins at the moment. Working on fixing this. I will take down the windows download link until it is resolved. In the meantime, please use the mac version or compile from source. Sorry about that! Will do my best to get windows wallet back and working asap.
All about securing free speech, it's concepts like this that blockchain was built for.  How exactly does the project plan to archive free speech?  Will be watching this one closely.
Susucoin has partnered with some of the largest anonymous free speech websites in the world. After the current technical problems (e.g. windows wallet not working correctly) are sorted out then we will be announcing our partnerships in a press release.
joke
I think it's just a joke, too. To show a Tulip flower on the main page is unfortunate). No project goal, funny white paper, some anime girl on the site... the community is tired of students who have no place to do their homework.
