That $6.5 trillion could have gone towards creating jobs, scientific research, education, healthcare reform.
Instead it was spent on war & we have nothing to show for it.
uh, are you absolutely sure about that? war is absolutely superb for business. they take money from future taxpayers and pour it into the pockets of the people who fund the wheels of government.
the people who do have something to show for it certainly won't be telling any of us about it.
That's NO DIFFERENT than any other kind of deficit spending. Hence, the focus on "war" is not right analytically.
