Thanks for help but sadly no luck with firmware.. seems to be hardware issue.

if you have any hardware advice I'm happy to try.

The hardware route is a bit hard, you will need a set of tools and some skills, nothing that the average joe can do, but if you are interested have a look at this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WH7g61d90w&t , this is about the S9 model but the idea is the same for all of the Bitmain products.

hi, dsl to contradict but in reality on the T9 + the hashboards are as follows:

Chain 1 = 2 - 9 -10
Chain 2 = 3 - 11 -12
Chain 3 = 4 - 13 - 14

As you tried to change the white cable of the hashboard, and the problem is to move, I believe that the problem comes from the cable ... try to clean it well Smiley

Finally, do not install firmware as suggested, I offer it FREE !!! simple advice, why pay: D?

as very well explained above, you must run a firmware before 2019, if this is not the case, you must downgrade by SDcard.

Here is the procedure if its tells you:

1: Install the latest original firmware before 2019, here it is:
https://easyupload.io/p44ue6

2: install my mod (by update firmware on web gui) to unlock the functions, here it is:
https://easyupload.io/u6utr5

Enjoy! start with 650mhz and 830mv, you will have a better hashrate AND a clear drop in consumption;) and heat! (ps: 650mhz is stock frequency for this chips, same at S9)

Thanks for help but sadly no luck with firmware.. seems to be hardware issue.

if you have any hardware advice I'm happy to try.

merci beaucoup!

OP, while it's me who suggested the other firmware, I can vouch for thierry4wd's firmware, he is an established member and a talented developer, you should certainly try his firmware since it's free of charge.

thierry4wd, sorry I usually forget to suggest your firmware. Cry

No luck with firmware.. seems to be hardware issue then..

Very strange.

Any hardware advice maybe?

Thank you very much for all the help and advice Smiley

How would I go about custom firmware? I am new to ASIC sorry if it's a noob question.

You can download it here > https://www.awesomeminer.com/antminerfirmware , if your miner runs the latest firmware or any firmware from Dec 2019 onward you might need to flash it using a Sdcard loaded with the recovery files found on Bitmain's official website, if you face any issues let me know.

Thanks, gonna have to wait till Monday to try. Don't have an sd card i can format.. Thanks for the help, i'll let you know how it goes

This is pretty strange, all your 9 chains seem to find 18 Asics and they should work perfectly

Quote
driver-btm-c5.c:11867:T9_18_getASICnum: Chain[J2] has 18 asic
driver-btm-c5.c:11867:T9_18_getASICnum: Chain[J3] has 18 asic
driver-btm-c5.c:11867:T9_18_getASICnum: Chain[J4] has 18 asic
driver-btm-c5.c:11867:T9_18_getASICnum: Chain[J9] has 18 asic
driver-btm-c5.c:11867:T9_18_getASICnum: Chain[J10] has 18 asic
driver-btm-c5.c:11867:T9_18_getASICnum: Chain[J11] has 18 asic
driver-btm-c5.c:11867:T9_18_getASICnum: Chain[J12] has 18 asic

driver-btm-c5.c:11867:T9_18_getASICnum: Chain[J14] has 18 asic

You have an issue with chains 2,9 and 10, the strange thing is that they are on different hash boards, you might be able to revive these chains with custom firmware using different voltage/frequency settings.

Yes I agree, very strange...

Have you tried to check the hashboard one by one?

Try it first to find what hashboard is running low hashrate follow the guide from this https://support.bitmain.com/hc/en-us/articles/226142788-Test-hash-board-one-by-one

or if it shows normal then I think you will need modified firmware or use the patched firmware from here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/exploit-antminer-s9-and-t9-firmware-asicboost-original-moded-free-release-5127323
To modify the frequency.

Hello,

I tried chaning the hasboards cables around and now it shows chains 3,11,12 as slow. Does this mean it is faulty board? But really strange since it shows all 18 asic...

I don't understand how to do the patched firmware.. could you explain how to do that?

Sorry I am really new to ASIC mining

Hello all,

I have an issue I hope someone could help with.

I have 4 T9+ miners and they have all been working pretty great this past month but a few days ago one of them dropped to 8TH/s
I went to check and I saw that one of the boards seems to be running really slow. Chain 2,9,10
http://puu.sh/Hwezj/d345ac74d8.png

Here are steps I have tried:
Restart
Reset to factory via button
Reset to factory via software (web gui)
Reset to factory with IP Report button
Upgrade firmware to latest from BITMAIN site
Switch powersupply from another miner

I am begging to think it is a hardware problem but ASIC status doesn't show anything wrong.

Here is my Kernel Log https://pastebin.com/J20UYVky

I hope it is not hardware and someone could help me, but if it is I would like to at least know for sure that it is hardware issue.
Please advise

Thank you in advance
