Haven't heard this game before OP, I checked it but sadly I can't try it since I'm not using an iOS phone, I have an android phone. But it seems to be a good game, especially when there are many bitcoins around. However, I don't think many users will drop coins? Haha More will be interested in collecting it imo.

Anyway, since this game doesn't have it's android version yet (maybe they'll have it if many people will use it), I like to share another game named "SaruTobi". This game was developed by MandelDuck also, same with Takara. It's like Benji Bananas, if you're familiar with that game. "SaruTobi" has its version for both Android and iOS. Not sure why would I drop some bitcoins somewhere in the world when I can just keep them on my private wallet. PokemonGo was just out there for like a month or two and there's a bunch of bots available already. If they could do that on a GPS-based game like PokemonGo, pretty sure they can do it in that app as well. Nevertheless, this idea is actually good if people aren't required to drop bitcoins for other people to pick up. And that should be really fun to play if getting the "tokens" is as easy as getting Pokemons.

What prevents people from using API to create bots or maps where all dropped bitcoin are available and collecting them using spoofed gps data?

Bots are/were running rampage on pokemon go, and I can only imagine more bots when bitcoin are being dropped instead of pokemon.

The idea is nice in general though, but bots are potentially a massive problem.

I don`t have iphone.Is there any Android version?

I would give it a try,if it`s safe enough.

Usually I stay away from apps like this.They can scam people and steal bticoins.

Wow i really like the idea and also idea of someone dropping bitcoin so that other can pick up rather than app itself try to pay users. However i don't have iphone to try this out, will wait for android version. I think we can also add our site banner or business banner or similar thing like shown in video which will be very useful for local merchants accepting bitcoin to get attention from bitcoin users.

Why do people go for Counterparty tokens and not Bitcoins directly? The moment I see tokens, I see people creating money out of thin air, like the fiat system and pump n dump type of schemes. We want games like this based purely on Bitcoin, not some shady tokens.

We have a working token called, Bitcoin that cannot be manipulated by supplying unlimited virtual tokens, why why why?

Well of course someone has to drop for someone else to pick up. Because this is also available for Counterparty tokens, this game has opened up a new market for some tokens built around this game. Like a community of treasure hunting enthusiasts can use it for fun.

This not about getting free bitcoins like most of us are looking for here. It is a fun game created for anyone who wishes to play it.

It looks like it requires someone to drop their bitcoins first. Makes sense but is not really alluring.

A security expert needs to look around if it have any vulnerabilities.
