Here are some screenshots from the reading system for those curious how it works and looks like.

We plan on making some kind of tutorial page later using images like these, to show how easy things are.

By popular demand, we are today introducing two new readings, Two Questions and Three Questions.

We have also lowered the prices significantly for the time being.

One Question now only costs $9 (~0.017 BTC)

Hello! Me and my parter are tarot and bitcoin enthusiasts who have decided to combine the two for our brand new online platform.

Mission
Most tarot website we have visited works in the following fashion: You submit your question(s) with a more or less simple form on the site, pay using PayPal or something similar, then after the tarot reader has confirmed the transaction you get your reading via mail.

This approach works but there is a disconnect between visiting the site, making an order and recieving it. This is true both for the reader and customer. These websites works mainly as a tool to get you interested enough to make an order, then you leave it. And what happens after you have ordered 10 readings? 20? Inboxes can get quite messy. There is in our opinion nothing charming or user friendly about this way of doing tarot online. It's just functional but nothing more. We want to to create a nice feeling about the site and would like customers to stay on it.

Websites listing phone numbers is similar in this way. If you want to get a reading you have to leave the site. The sites are mostly big ads, leaving the readers very little space to express themselves. The readers also often work directly for these companies. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this, but wouldn't you rather earn everything for yourself as a reader? Perhaps you would like to, but don't know how to code a website or can afford it. And even if you did get your own website with an order form on it you might end up with some of the issues above. It might not be a full tarot solution so to speak. And will you be able to market it properly?

Perhaps you are a potential customer who would like to order a reading but feel your question it's a bit personal and sensitive? Then it might not feel so good having to use your MasterCard to pay for it.

Our solution
We have created a system to keep everything in one place. Have a question? Pay the reader directly (we do not touch any of this money) on the site with Bitcoin. You can be anonymous. After the network has confirmed the transaction your reading will automatically be flagged as confirmed and a countdown will start (for example 48 hours). Before this countdown is done you will be able to read your answer(s) on the very same page. Want to give the reader feedback/ask for clarification on something afterward? Send a reply on the same page! Want to give the reading a score (1-5)? Just takes two clicks. Have you ordered two or more readings, perhaps from two different readers? Well now you suddenly have a very easy way to overview them.

For readers this approach is of course also extremely powerful in quite many ways. But how does it work? Well, we will give every reader who tries out our system his or her own sub-site. On this site there is a control panel available only for that particular reader's account. With this they can edit the content of their pages and set their own headers and texts. They can create their own reading-types and customize them to their liking. For example, a reading that costs $20 and has a deadline of 48 hours, viewable to anybody and with drag and drop functionality to decide in which order it should be listed. Even messages sent through the site's contact form can be read from the control panel. It's also possible to view detailed stats about who order what and when. Which reading has been most popular during period X and so forth.

Simply put, we believe Bitcoin is great for this. If you are a reader and you believe in Bitcoin this would be a very good solution.

Final words
Tarot is perhaps not the most popular market for Bitcoin at this moment. We want to change this. We want to get more people interested in Bitcoin, people who perhaps haven't even heard of it before. If you have any idea or suggestion on how we can improve our message, please let us know. If you have any other way to help us promote our services, let us know as well! When spearheading something into new territory, any support is appreciated.

Currently we have created a site for ourselves, Sagiquarius, to show what can be done with the system. It's fully functional and ready to accept Bitcoin for readings. So if you are curious or know somebody who might be, feel free to spread the word!
