I agree totally with what you have said  Wink
Maybe my questioning method is the same, but in reality, the problem in this time is different from the previous one. The previous issue is an obvious abuse, no one can dispute. This time, I asked a question with confusion, which showed that I wanted to know what was going on. It doesn't matter how many times I repeat this question, I only care about the value I receive, and I have get it in your responses  Wink
Maybe it's because I have a negative view, or are they really shady?

Well, if so, I believe we need to review how the sources of merit work  Cheesy there is no way that post are worth the merit  Roll Eyes
It is the right of the members here to judge it, also the opinions you have, free to speak.

I do not take sides for the A and the B, just to straighten and judge the best, and the best.
Inappropriate or not, spamer or not it has the opinion of each, if yes why not.

@ChuckBuck, in fact questions and problems like this, you have broadcasted several times, and you also get 50 merit by submitting topics like this.
Example:

Topic: Send shady merits

If the actual value of questions and answers from this topic is almost the same as the topic that you created before.

For that it's up to you how to think, good and bad between the two of them, I can only suggest and give my opinion, to be digested professionally.

Well, if so, I believe we need to review how the sources of merit work  Cheesy there is no way that post are worth the merit  Roll Eyes Two post above are the posts that any spammer can say, not worthy of any merit, I don't mean to offend, but it is my personal opinion. Merit should be given in a more proper and worthy way, a source of merit should be responsible for it  Wink
When merit source (or any other user with extra smerits) sees some user that has  history of decent/constructive posts, he may give bigger amount of merit  to some not so extraordinary post. Especially if that user has enough activity and needs more merit to reach next rank (like taufik123). Even theymos said that is ok to give a lot of merit to some post if that will help good poster to rank up. Or something similar along those lines, I can't remember exactly.

I know TK, chat with him in the past. He is a trusted user and have been with many successful projects in the past.  Contributed great topics here in the forum which gives insights to what is going on in crypto space and he gives merit to almost everyone who contributes not just to his thread. Isn't TK a merit source in the Alternate cryptocurrencies?

However, for that event like this happens often, merit is not moderated, for that in this case it is normal while the giver of merit is happy with the post being read.

In my opinion there is nothing wrong what is done by: tk808, because he already mentioned it here: Topic: TK808's Merit Source Application [ALT Disc, ANN, ANN Tokens, Services]

@tk808, I think taufik and tk808 have no relationship with Alt or something, maybe @ tk808 is happy to give Merit to what he likes 10-20 and so on, cases like this often occur with other members.

In this case not only happened to taufik, also experienced by several other members.
For example;

2. https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.53805991

However, for that event like this happens often, merit is not moderated, for that in this case it is normal while the giver of merit is happy with the post being read.

Looking at Merit summary for tk808, looks like he have habit to send merit to same post/user multiple times (with short time interval). So IMO it's merely coincidental
Few example,

Take note few known merit source have similar habit (since they don't have time to look for merit-worthy posts or decide to reward the user by sending huge merit in a post.

Curious about the connection between @taufik123 and @tk808

At first glance, taufik123 looks like an active member who regularly receives merit by many people in the forum, but after carefully reviewing his merit source, most merit comes from a few users. But here, I ignore temporarily the possible abuses in the local section as well as any possible connections with other accounts  Cheesy  (dbshck may also be relevant)

Now let's get to the main point  Wink
Coronavirus at least has some impact that does affect the price of bitcoin. We know that China has become one of the most influential countries for bitcoin and many of the big miners come from China. Coronavirus turns off some miner sectors in China, of course. Some time ago the president of China also began to accept the blockchain as a technology that would be developed by them and impact on bitcoin.

The corona virus does not completely make the price of bitcoin go down but, people who want to get many benefits take advantage of this incident by spreading some negative news related to coronavirus. We in this forum must respond to events wisely.
The panic of others can be a boon for people who want to buy BTC at cheap prices.
Too Panic and finally selling BTC cheaply is just a waste of money.
If the price of BTC goes down it should have a reserve fund to buy more BTC at a cheaper price.

Prices will definitely go back up and that's for sure, just how to train mentally to not be the person to do the Cut Loss action because BTC continues to fall and do not have reserve funds. stay focused on the intended target.

taufik123 received 10 merit for each of the posts above, in addition, there are many other posts that he received merit from tk808. In particular, 10 merit is not sent in one go  Cheesy they are sent in 5 times and sent alternately.

Is there any reason for this action to take place? Maybe it's because I have a negative view, or are they really shady? I want to listen to everyone's opinions, especially the opinions of the 2 users above. It is necessary to clarify my concerns regarding the above information  Cheesy
